Subject: DLA nightmare
my partner has got PA and he applied for the DLA forms at the end of february, and they received them back at the start of march....basically its been a complete and utter nightmare getting the doctors to fill in his report and they have only just sent it back (the dla say they haven't got it though)...just scared my partners not going to get it as basically its all our lives over as we cannot afford to live:(

sorry i keep rabbitting on and on about this same subject but i am terrified...scared now that the forms have been lost in the post as its taken since MARCH for the doctor to listen and fill them in!

Sorry to hear what you are going through Vicki. Why don't you give them a call tomorrow and see if they have received it. If the doctor has posted it they should get it ok. I do hope you get it. If they refuse you can appeal.

Hi Vicki, you can rabbit on all you like this is what we are here for. I do hope you hear something soon. It is bad enough to be ill without all the added pressure of money worries. Have you spoken to CAB to see if you might be entitled to any other benefits?

no they haven't received it...looks like its lost in the post or the doctors lied and not sent it....so fed up and at rock bottom

Ring your doctor's surgery and ask them to fax it over. It's probably sitting in a pile of stuff to be sent.

Vicki, don't be beaten by it all. Call your GP and tell them you need the forms and ask can I pick them up and send them your self. Otherwise take a trip to CAB. Take care and wish you luck x
