Subject: Keyhole surgery

Hi Everyone

I was just wondering has anyone had keyhole surgery on any joint for e.g elbows or shoulder from arthritis damage or bony overgrowth.

Has it improved the flexibility and range of movement in anyway.

Thanks

hi Suz , was offered keyhole on my elbow , got restrictive movement in it cause of bone growth but when they offered it was when I was having ankle fusion so needed that done first

think its worth having done but not sure how long it will last until you have problems again , here so people say its not worked/lasted very long but you need to talk to the surgeon

Thanks colin

I Saw the surgeon and he advised this be my first option due to age, as total elbow replacement is mainly done for over 50s.
