Lovely to hear from you again, we have been wondering how you were. I am sorry to hear that you are still having a bad time of it and i hope they get things sorted out soon for you as the last thing you want is to have your hands getting bent. My hands are quite swollen as well and i can see some changes in the shape of them. Hopefully when you go back in June they will have all the test results and you will be able to get back onto either the enbrel or something else. I have found the rituximab has helped even although i still have pain but a lot better than i was.

Lynn, did I mention I was on a half dose of Enbrel - 25mg split into two doses a week? My infections have reduced dramatically though it doesn't entirely control my arthritis. I take small dose of pred too.

It has been like winter here today Marlene and the forecast is for rain over the weekend. I do hope it improves soon. I don't think i can stand much more of this cold damp weather.

You are doing well with the all the different fairs that you are going to Marlene, i hope it stays dry for you.

I have nothing exciting planned for the weekend, probably do a bit food shopping tomorrow and i think we are going out for dinner on Sunday as i got another deal lol.

Another wet morning here Marlene, i hope it is better where you are for your fair.

I get the deals from places like KGB, Groupon, 5pm etc. If you go to their website you can sign up for the city closest to you and they send you an email daily with their deals. The hotel we went to a few weeks ago had a saving of over £60 and i confirmed this by checking the hotel website. They also have deals for hairdo's etc. My daughter got a full body massage a couple of weeks ago for £15.00.

I had Millie at the vet again last night and it was the vet that owns the surgery. He lifted Millie onto his table and examined her all over and seems quite sure that she has a tumour on her spleen. He has given me another 3 weeks supply of steroids but wasn't very optomistic at all.

Hi ladies, Well the weather started well and now its raining again.

Bsk thats the trouble with gardening we have to use our sore hands but it is worth it WHEN the sun shines and the flowers are all out.
The cake sounds Yummy. What a lovely change from normal iced birthday cake.

Dad-in-law not too bad needs physio to get him walking better. It seems he had three falls in sucsession (not good) that is how he became so bruised every where. He is in good spirit.

So glad you enjoyed your meal the pub sounds so lovely with all the tartan. I bet Millie was a happy doggie. We ate a pub lunch to-day just me and hubby it was a typical country pub. Hi Rhona, I was going to say the same as Marlene. It will take a while, Millie was with you for a long time. Sorry to hear you are suffering today, you too Marlene. This weather can't help.

I'm feeling a bit fed up today. I had a scan of my hands this morning and the doctor said there was no damage to my joints (which is great) but she couldn't see any inflammation either. Also great, but doesn't explain why they hurt. She thought it was 'mechanical' i.e. hurt when I use them but that doesn't really explain it. There is some fluid in my right wrist but not that much.
I think I'm going to drop the steroids down and see what actually is going on. Seeing my nurse on Monday so will see what she has to say.

Thanks Rhona, that is interesting. She didn't give me that impression at all and made me feel uncomfortable about questioning her. My nurse is very experienced so I will see what she says on Monday. My wrists are quite painful this evening. She implied that having no damage after 4 years of RA is unusual. I thought that was what the drugs were for! I also wear splints every night and have heard they can prevent joint damage.

On a more positive note, I got a text from my friend in ICU this morning. I can't say how happy I am she has got to this point. She's got a long time in hospital still, along with major surgery, but I really thought she wasn't going to make it. Yay! What a great start to my day.

It will be better for your daughter but as you say it is a shame she needs it at all. (hugs ).

I have been doing a lot of sofa surfing these last couple of days my hands are so sore and my middle finger on my right hand is so swollen and painful I can't bend it at all.As for the rest of my joints they are also playing havoc. This weather has me back to how I was in the winter. Oh for a bit of summer.
Hopefully I am going to the Medieval street market in the next village. Not sure what we will find but that just adds to the fun of it all. Let you know what it was all about.I will max out on pain meds before I go.

I hate when my feet get sore Lynn, that sounds really bad and poor you having your toe nails coming off. Have they decided whether or not you can get a small dose of enbrel? you really do need something that is going to help you.

Bsk glad you are feeling better. It will be good for you to take time out as you say you have been having fun looking after everyone. Now you need some you time to recharge those batteries!!!!

I went to the street market it was fun Morris Dancers everywhere lots of stalls selling all sorts jewellery sweets cakes jams and a fantastic bread stall. I had to buy some bread it is now in the freezer most of the bread was Italian so lots of olives and cheese with onions and tomatoes bread made for warming and sharing.It will go well with pasta.
I am hurting to-day and was going to stay home but have decided to go out in the sun. There is a classic car show come a few stalls, not really my thing but hubby likes it. I will take in the sun and maybe my sore bones will stop hurting (i wish).

Hi Rhona, you will love the island. Yes we go there every winter for two weeks. It is a quite place in November but everything is still open. The restaurants are lovely and the people. We go to Caletta-de-fuste not far from the airport. We stay in an apartment or villa and pay for the flights seperate. We have stayed in different areas and the whole island is lovely and peaceful.
I hope you enjoy it and the sun will do you the world of good. The pace is slow and it suits me just fine as no one rushes and I don't think any one notices how slow I am lol.

I did enjoy the car show as the sun was shining and it wasn't a big show so I didn't feel worn out. We went to a garden centre after then we had dinner out.
I hope you enjoy your evening out it sounds like fun. You are right Rhona it will be a change from the normal and that makes it a good night out.

Well at least the show got you out of the house Rhona.

We purchased some lovely flowering shrubs Rhodies and a pink flowering shrub not sure what it is called but it will be very pretty. We have a very large garden the garden from the front of the house to the top of back garden according to Bing aeriel photos is 400 foot.
It is a long walk to the top of the back garden thinking of asking for a bus stop to be put in hahaha.
I do love it, but we need to shrub and put more lawn down so my other half can have a sit on lawnmower for his latter years. The garden has also been neglected but it is all coming into shape with a lot of help from my daughter and sons good job they like gardening.

Off to Tesco shortly oh what Joy!

Your garden does sound lovely Marlene and it's good that your family help with it. I have noticed a few shrubs in my garden have died this year, we even had to cut a tree down a few months ago as it had died.

It might be a good idea bsk to add another drug if it allowed you to get off the steroids completely, see what the rheumatologist says on wed. Is he retiring? i think i remember you saying before he was.

How lovely a nice relaxing facial. As for a facelift not for me either. years ago I had an abscess removed from my boob so painful after so a boob job forget it not that I need one lucky me.LOL.
I am sure you don't need a facelift anyway. I will be growing old disgracefully without any ops to make me look younger what's wrong with wrinkles???
I am trying to find somewhere that do massages at a reasonable price not much success yet.

Hi Bsk, I can understand you don't want any more drugs and I don't blame you. I hope all goes well with the rhumy. Be careful with that wrist of yours if you are going to potter in the garden although I know like me you like to be in the garden. I am not sure that sitting around too much helps either.
It is great when you have people in doing stuff and you have faith in them and their work. It is good that they clean up well behind them. What colour are you having? You will be delighted when you get back into your lounge and Bsk you deserve something nice!!!!

My hands and shoulder are driving me mad. My feet are a lot better. Its a bit cold here for gardening but have plenty to do inside lol.

I hope you got on well at the hospital today bsk. Are they going to give you something else? I am doing alright thanks although my feet are sore tonight. I just hope it doesn't flare up before we go away, when i think how bad i was last year it still scares me so i am grateful to have been given the rituximab.

It is still strange not having Millie in the house bsk, especially when i come in and she's not there.

My daughter is doing ok and she will get the other eye operated on after the holiday.

I hope you feel a bit better soon Marlene. It was nice here earlier but it has turned quite cold and there is a wind here.

I think you should contact the hospital Lynn, that's too long to wait until the end of June. I don't know how you are coping without the drugs, surely they must be able to give you something to stop your nails falling off and to help your pain, you must be exhausted by it all. Would a steroid injection help your pain until you get something sorted? I hope you get something soon.

Was that not painful bsk? I have never had one in my wrists or fingers or ankle and i imagine them to be really painful. I have had plenty in my shoulders and knees though. I hope it kicks in soon but remember and take it easy for up to 48hrs after getting the injection and rest your wrist to get the full benefit. I hope yout xrays turn out to be ok. Just as well you don't have to lift all your books back.

You are having your time of it too Marlene.

We go away on the 13th June and we are flying from Edinburgh at 6.30am and i am not looking forward to that part although we come back into Glasgow.

It is cold here today as well, crazy weather for this time of year. My ankles are a bit sore today so i hope it settles until at least after the holiday. I am hoping i will manage on ok but ryanair usually have a stair to go up and down and it is the coming down that's the worst but if needed i will ask for assistance.

It's a shame that you are suffering so much Marlene. Was there not some talk of a new injection to help OA. Would wax baths help your hands? Try not to do too much and rest them as much as you can.

That is what i had not so long ago bsk. It is always best getting these things checked out and if it is then it is easy to remove. I was told by the dermatologist that enbrel can cause it although he did say it was more likely to have been the sun as i wasn't on enbrel very long.

Hope you are a bit better Lynn. Have you called the hospital yet?

Morning, well it is freezing here to-day and yesterday wasn't any better hailstones on and off all day.
I am hurting all over and my hands are so bad. I am going to get an appointment with my GP after the Bank Holiday. I don't know what I think they can do but my painkillers aren't touching the pain.
I now have three fingers that I can't bend at all with the pain.
Rhona I am so glad you are going away the break and sunshine will be so good for you.
Bsk when are you going to get a break from all of this. My son had a nasty looking Mole removed from his back a short while ago. I hope your books are all back in place and you are resting in your lovely new room. What colour did you have?

Rhona, I am not sure what to do the Drs don't ever seem to think there is any thing stronger on offer. I seem to cope very well and then I go through a patch like this where I don't cope at all. I am trying to carry on the same but it is hard. Sorry to be so miserable this is the reason I usually don't come on the forum when I am feeling like this.... you all have enough on your own plates without listening to me battering on. I feel like the weather outside wet windy and cold.

It has Turned very cloudy here bsk. We went to B&Q this morning and got some plants for the garden and spent the afternoon planting them, I just hope the wind doesn't start again and kill them off.

Did a bit of research and forgot to factor in steroid injection. Which would explain my short temper, possible fluey symptoms (or susceptibility to infection or whatever), lack of sleep and general miserableness. On the positive side, one of my wrists seems better so hopefully not OA.

Sounds as if you've both done a lot in the garden today. Beautiful day for it. I think the weather is going to hold for another day. I'm going to watch the French Open tomorrow. I just love the tennis.

I am feeling pretty rough went to the Drs. on antibiotics for chest infection. Steroid and antibiotic drops for infection in both ears. had all long chat about OA and he has asked me to go back when I am over chest infection to have another chat. My swollen fingers are OA and the lumps are caused by it.
I am not sure what he can do for the OA but I will go back for another chat maybe he has a plan!

Rhona did you buy anything nice in town? I bet you can't wait to go away and leave this weather behind. It is so depressing.

Poor you Marlene, that must be horrible for you. I remember having an infection in my ear years ago and it was agony. I hope the antibiotics clear it up quickly. Rest as much as you can and keep warm. I bought a dress and a pair of sandals today Marlene and a table runner for my new table lol.

Sorry to hear you are feeling down Marlene. If it's any consolation, I am feeling sorry for myself too. Met my friend who I had dinner with on Sat and he's got a sore throat and chest infection too. So I guess that is where I'm headed lol!

Weirdly, my wrists are very bad today as well. So maybe it is secondary oA. Need to get to the hospital for that x-ray soon.

Rhona, I'm not surprised you're feeling down what with losing Millie and your worries over your daughter. Like you, I've been eating like a pig and have put on weight. It has been a better day here today. We had a BBQ in the garden tonight which was nice, it was lovely to sit out and have a glass of wine.

That's good that the cold isn't in your chest bsk. Look after yourself though.

Perhaps the infection in your chest is breaking up now Marlene and that's why you are coughing badly. Make sure that you finish the antibiotics and maybe a hot toddy would help.

Woke early with a headache from hell. Sitting in the lounge no one up headache is now drifting off after two different lots of painkillers. I have the washing on as it is another sunny day. Rhona I hope you have some sun shine to-day.
I have a bit of catching up to do in the house to-day but I will be plodding trough no rushing I don't have the get up and go feeling!! I should have I sat most of the day yesterday LOL.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better Marlene. I wish i could tan, i burn very easily so i have to take care in the sun. It has been beautiful here for the last few days and what a difference it makes, even being at a cemetary didn't seem so bad with the sun shining today.

Beautiful morning here again. I hope you are all feeling well today. You are right Marlene the sun is a tonic. I am actually quite red and i wasn't sitting in it too long. I will need to be careful next week the drugs i am on make me even more sensitive to the sun.

Hi Ladies, Rhona is it too late to ask for a jab before you go away? Try not to get to sunburned I usually burn but surprisingly I haven't this year. I have a very nice Tan I look very healthy.

Bsk don't you just love it when people don't mention the are ill. I like you have to be careful with my chest as my Asthma is set off by the slightest cold. I hope you don't get anything nasty you have had quiet enough lately.
I am feeling much better still have a cough but I suppose that will hang on it usually does.

That's good that you are both feeling better today. Sometimes a cough can be a good thing Marlene, better than it being in your chest.

My feet and ankles are so sore tonight, i can hardly bear to put my weight on them. If they are still bad on Monday i will call and ask for a steroid jab and hope i can get it. I just hope it eases off. I am going to go to bed soon perhaps the rest will help. I would have thought the sunshine would have helped.

Anyway, sleep well tonight and enjoy another sunny day tomorrow.

Hi Ladies, So glad you are feeling better Rhona. Just pack the case and anything forgotton can always be bought out there. All I make doubly sure about is meds passports and tickets. Rhona all the stress will go once you are in the sun with your family.

Bsk I am not too bad, I like you are so tired but having trouble sleeping. Bsk I do hope you are not getting ill again as you can do without it.
I have got over the chest infection pretty well. I had a new GP so I made a point of telling him what works for me. A bit cheeky I know but some antibiotics don't work for me.
Its very grey here and not so warm and rain is on the way again so that will be good for us (joke).So pleased for Rhona getting away from this weather.

I should check out the Ikea sale as there are a few bits I need but will have to wait until I'm better.

Saw my GP this morning (I've posted this somewhere else so sorry if you've read it already) and took the letter from the doctor who did the scan who said there was no inflammation in my joints. Letter was full of descriptions of various joints that were inflamed and my GP said she was confused too, as was my consultant. She told me to ignore it haha! Luckily, I've got a fab gp with a sense of humour.

Am really trying to rest so I get over this bug as I've got things to do! Speak soon. xx

Bsk, I get cranky when I don't get out and about. You know we have a lot in common. We both seem to suffer with SAD as well.
The weather has been good and now waiting on the storms I hope they miss us out my poor dog will be fretting the whole time. She just hates loud rain and thunder being a German Shepherd this is nothing unusual.
It is very muggy tonight and has been all day.
I have been gardening for three days my hands are so painful but they are anyway so they might as well hurt for a reason. LOL.I just love being outside and it lifts my mood a lot. I hope the storms don't bring rotten weather with them.

Yes, it is frizzy! I've got fine hair and it becomes completely unmanageable in humid weather. Not product I've tried helps so far so it's tied back at the moment.

I'm feeling a bit better this evening. Managed to do some stuff today which was good though I have got a very sore thumb caused by a gooseberry thorn. I hope it isn't stuck in my thumb, had a large splinter before which put me out of action for weeks!

My cat is really amusing me at the moment, she's stretched out full length with her front paws curled up under her chine. She makes me laugh. She's bought in three tiny live frogs in the past couple of days plus a dead mouse. Not so funny.

Hope you are doing ok Marlene. Isn't it nice to get out in the garden at last? Enjoy yourself in the sun.

Bsk, I know what you mean about your hair now, my friend Heather has naturally curly but gets it straightened, now she hates being caught in the rain and whips out an old fashioned rainhat if she hasn't got a coat on with a hood.
Funny it's called Glasgow hair as her mam is origionally from Edinburgh! We all laugh when the plastic hat comes out! She doesn't mind as long as her hair is saved.
Had 2 good nights sleep, took a Tramadol as had a niggly back. I find they totally chill me out and I rest better.
Marlene, my grandparents had an orchard, sadly, years ago now, but it was a lovely place to play and climb the small trees.

I love those Black Jacks we used to pay one old penny for four. They were bigger then and pocket money day I would buy Black Jacks and my friend would buy the Fruit Salad ones.

It is good to know you have had a couple of good nights sleep. I had very little sleep last night. First my hands were hurting then my feet joined in and to top it all my shoulder decided to hurt as well. Looking out of the window at the rain didn't help much.

Hi Bsk, I hope you had a lovely week-end with your family. I was on family Patrol all week-end two sons and daughter popped in good job not altogether haha. My granddaughter coming up three had a lovely holiday and found treasure on the beach (seashells). She also had pink chocolate!! her mum and dad not sure where she had that. Oh for the love of the little ones.

My hands are very sore and I also have developed pain in my Jaw. I looked it up and it seems like it could be OA keeping fingers crossed it's not.

Bsk if you need your steroids what can you do? You can't sit in pain all day. I hope they help you soon.

Hi Bsk, poor you so much going on for you lately you have really been going through it. Maybe the steroid jab is wearing off or have you been overdoing it ? I am also very tired I think this all part of being in pain and not sleeping well. When we have pain the quality of sleep is rubbish as you well know.

Thanks ladies, I can't really say that it's nice to be back lol. We went to Costa Calma on the Tuesday and from there we went to the Market in Jandia on the Thursday. I didn't see anything worth buying Marlene, I thought it was a very poor market. We did get a wee massage though lol. There was a Chinese man doing massages so me and my daughter sat on a wee stool and he massaged our back and shoulders for 10 euros each. Oh I forgot i bought a hat for my daughter to wear in the sun. They don't get back until tomorrow. I got a text from them tonight and they don't want to leave, they love it there.

I had to get my rings altered a wee while back Marlene as my knuckles had got very swollen. I hope your hands settle soon. I hope your hubby doesn't have to wait too long to see the surgeon. It is hard not to worry. My daughter has to get her other eye operated on next month.

I hope you are feeling a bit better bsk.

That's not so good if you have to stop it bsk. Do you have a rash or is it just the tingling? It does make sense to stop it and see if it goes away though. I am having bother with my feet and stiffness in my legs too and when I get stressed it seems to get even worse and I do have a lot of stress at the moment. I am so fed up with all this illness in my family. My husband has parkinson's disease although he doesn't complain much about it and still manages to work but it is such a worry with everything that is going on,

Try not to worry (I am a fine one to talk) hopefully it won't be anything too serious and it will settle.

Rhona, sorry to hear about your hubby and you also have a lot to deal with. When is your daughter having her eye op. Once that is dealt with you will have less to worry about. It is so stressful when our loved ones are ill.

My hands are less swollen but very painful and my shoulder is agony to-night. Taking each day as it comes is the best we can do. I always think there is someone out there worse off than me and get on with it.

Hi ladies is been a while I'm still in alot of pain saw my rhumy on Friday she had spoke about me trying the half dose of Enbrel but after discussing this with her she thinks maybe because of all the infections I was having on the enbrel I might b best to take humira again but monthly instead of fortnightly I suppose I'm quite deflated after the appointment as 2 of the previous because get out of bed because of pain and stiffness and yet the day I saw my rhumy I wad feeling much better I hate that I hardly ever see her when I'm at my worst Oh well no point complaining just need to sit tight and wait on delivery I guess

I see RA specialist on thursday this week, It was so stiff and painful this morning, it felt like my leg was twisted, but the ankle of the same leg is bad too so it's difficult. I took extra steroids today.
I feel unsafe coming down the stairs at present, probably need a stairlift at some point.
It's sad because all that sounds so 'OLD' and I don't want to feel like this.
Oh I am going to ask if I can maybe go on half a measure of a bio.
Hopefully will get a magic jab of steroid! On Thurday. Then get a life back.

Morning Ladies, thanks for your lovely comments and support. It is very hard at the moment I woke up at 3 this morning needing to take full pain meds my shoulder is so painful still.

Bsk I hope your appointment gets to the bottom of this tingling for you it must be a strange sensation. Bsk what are we all like ?? One thing after another. I am so glad I have you all to spill my problems too and you never judge just support. My daughter and sons have been so good and are so worried so I am trying to jolly along like. Back in A&E this afternoon for eye problem - uveitis from cataract op and back on the eye drops. Very annoying. also not great news about Enbrel, which I suspect they are not going to put me back on as the tingling is improving the longer I'm off it. GP couldn't help much apart from being very sympathetic. Oh my! What a journey.

My eye feels better already with the drops but got another 2 months to go with them! Now I've noticed a nasty looking mole on my wrist. It's been there for a couple of months but seems to have grown. It doesn't look good. I'm going for an appt next week to have the basal cell carcinoma one looked at next week but it is a 'non-malignant' clinic and this one doesn't look so benign! Do you think I should wait til next week or should I ring my GP? Any help good!

Good evening ladies, I have just read a few of the posts above and am so sorry you all seem to have problems at present.
Marlene, it seems unbelievable that you had to go off and find a wheelchair and push your husband yourself. I would have thought that was a health and safety issue! in a hospital too.
I think reporting the incident is feasible, just to stop it happening again.
Bsk, I hope you rang and could be seen promptly with your wrist. Good luck with that and the eye problem.
Rhona I was at hosp yesterday and had injections, I reported in the other post about it. Seems a lot better now.
I hope your ankle improves too.
Yes we are having a good spell of heat at the moment, I feel more fatigued I think, but still like it and am making the most of it as we don't get it every year. I just drink plenty of water and have a lie down in the afternoon if it gets too much. I have stopped feeling guilty about doing that this last year as I have been more poorly with RA?

That's good that your husband is home now Marlene. That really is bad that she expected you to go and look for a wheelchair, some people have no sense at all. At least you don't have to run back and forward to the hospital now as that is so exhausting, try and have a restful weekend sitting in the sun.

That's a shame your appointment is the same day as the funeral bsk. I hope the mole is innocent but it is best to get it seen to as soon as possible.

Pleased to hear the injections have helped Emm. It is lovely having the sunshine, a treat for us here in Scotland although I am sitting her with my fan on at the moment.

Hi Ladies, I have a free hour before my bed starts calling me LOL. I am shattered and hurting everywhere. My ankle is like a balloon (oa). I have booked myself in at the Drs Friday.
My other half is struggling he also has a review at the Drs Friday. I hope this is all going to be a distant memory soon.

Enough of my troubles.

BSK I am sorry you are also struggling with the weather I think its the humidity. I bet you are sad about Heathers funeral but you can go to the memorial as you say. Aww big hugs for you I am sure your friend wouldn't want you to be sad.
You must look after yourself no matter what and getting that mole looked at is important. xx

Hi Rhona, I am sure the sun will popping out where you are. Enjoy that BBQ.
My son and his family came round yesterday armed with all the stuff for a BBQ to give me a little break it was lovely and the kids had a little swimming pool and the swings to play on so they were happy.

I have a real painful ankle right now so it must be feet week haha.
I am sure he is improving each day but it is going to be a long haul but I am sure he will get there in the end.

My hubby is getting there but he is still in so much pain and I don't like the cocktail of pills he is on:- Morphine Codeine Paracetamol Dizapam
Amytripline (spelling). He has to go to the GP tomorrow so maybe he will change some!!!

I am still in so much pain but it is all this extra load but what can I do??

Bsk, I am so pleased your skin problem is not a problem, nice to hear a good result.
Marlene, I am sorry to hear your hubby is still in pain, we all know pain is a terrible irritable thing that is hard to get on top of , but wishing him all the best. I know it is upsetting for all the family and as you are ill too it is an extra worry.
Rhona, good luck to your daughter with her op. My friend has a dehumidifier and uses it all year round, she lives in Barnard Castle, but she thinks her house is a bit damp! She gets water in it continuesly.
My knee is doing great after my injections, but not so for the ankle! It is slightly better but not what I would have hoped.
The doctor did say they are not as successful as other joints!
Oh well !! what can we do.
Of course it is lovely here too, I am determined not to complain as it is the best year for a long time and I think I suffer from S A D on the cloudy days when the daylight is limited. So I have decided to adjust my lifestyle and do what I can when I can and if I can't I am not going to worry. It is a long winter.
Been to put my prescription in for my calcium injection that I get every 6months, does anyone else get it? I didn't like taking that resednonate, the one that you had to take with a big glass of water once a week and then not eat or lie down for half an hour afterwards.( spelling probably not correct)
So have had this 2 years now.

Hi Emm, Nice to hear from you. I am pleased to hear than your knee is a lot better, just sit and rest your poor ankle and enjoy the sunshine. I don't get calcium injections. I am waiting to go for a bone scan, that's if they ever send the appointment in. I have just had a call from my doctor (it's a new indian lady doctor) I haven't met her yet. The other two doctors are retiring and I must say I am quite happy that they are, anyway she called to tell me to cut down on the levothyroxine as it is now showing that I have too much. This is the first week the new doctor has looked at my blood results so just wonder how long they have been like that.

My daughter had a call this afternoon from the hospital so her operation is cancelled until next week as they had three emergencies.

Hi Ladies, going back to Drs Tuesday with a view to sending hubby to another consultant for second opinion. GP agreed he cannot be left indefinitely like this. So a good visit upped the amytriptiline. (spelling) I just hope it helps.

I have a chest infection and I have to go back to the nurse in two weeks as my blood pressure is up (shocker) I am not at all surprised.

Anyway I hope your daughter's operation is done soon nothing worse than hanging around waiting and worrying Rhona hugs for you and your daughter. It is awful when our family are going through tough times!!!

Bsk hope you are ok they are saying next week is going to be even hotter well we wanted a summer and now we have it LOL. Joking aside oh for a storm to clear the air.

Emm so glad you are feeling the benefits from those injections. You are right we are best friends that just haven't meet. I find this forum helps everyone reads the posts never judge and just support. I am so glad I found it!!!!

Rhona life is a bitch at times I always say chuck it all at me and lets get it over with. I have never had blood pressure issues so I am a bit worried about it.

I hope you are all ok!!!!

I am going to my sons with my daughter and mum (hubby staying home). It is the little girls birthday party (in a hall) then a BBQ for adults at my sons home. I will be staying for a few hours which will be a way of distressing for a while. She saw a frog for the first time in my pond and watched it until it jumped away. After about an hour she suddenly said "nanny you put a battery in the frog for me didn't you?" She couldn't understand why we were all laughing bless her. I don't think she really got the it is real. Kids!!!!!!

Hi ladies sorry I've not been on had a tough time been up and down saw my rhumy who to be honest gave the impression she couldn't care less but recommended I go back on enbrel but half the injection to 25mls but I then reminded her that I had an infection every week on it and never felt any benefit she suggested I try the humira but instead on fortnightly only do it monthly!! She has told me she is clutching at straws as there is no more drugs to try so I will do it although I must say I'm not looking forward to it I have felt so much better in myself apart from the aching joints which I'm used to now but as I said i will give it a go I hope you are all feeling as well as you can and coping with this heat I love the sun but even I've struggled.

Marlene, you certainly have your hands full, last time I popped in I thought your poor husband had found some relief, I am sorry he is no better. It is so tiring with the warm weather, and now you have more stress and nursing to do. I wish you all well.
Rhona, I hope your daughters op goes ahead today and is successful. I read your other post about your red eye. Sometimes I get that, it just appears out of the blue but usually goes away on its own. I wonder if it happens when we are run down. It may be wise to get it checked out.
I broke my venner on one of my front teeth on Thursday night, on an ice lolly. I got an appointment on Friday but they didn't do much and have to go back Monday, aren't the dentists slow, they always have you back and forth for a few minutes at a time. They should make a longer appointment and get on with it! I will probably be walking around like this for 3 weeks before it is cleaned, measured and a new one made. So frustrating.
Then on Friday evening I burnt two fingers on the cooker hob and ended up in A+E getting them dressed, gosh the sting was unbearable for 2 hours I suffered, running them in cold water but they would not cool down. I rang 111 and they made me the appointment. They are a lot better now and I can take the bandage off tonight. I probably have thin skin as a result from taking steroids.
It rained a lot here in Durham last night and this morning, but nice again now.I
I hope everything improves for everyone soon. Oh my knee is good after the injections, the ankle, only slightly. X

Gosh an exploding oven, that must have been a scary experience, hooray for the internet, it is easy to order when we can't get out. I once ordered a fridge freezer from comet and they took the old one away, fitted the new one and it all went very smoothly. I hope your cooker delivery goes as well.
My fingers are fine now just hard white skin, nurse said to apply vaseline.
Dentist today at 11.15 but I know she will just look and I will have to go again before any work is even started. It will cost £214. Could have done without that expense. Oh well, what can we do.

Hello again, Marlene, we come on here to moan because we all understand, Arthritis is in itself a lot to cope with but when we get extra problems it is amazing how we summon up the strength to cope. BUT we do get very tired and stressed.
I was only in the dentist 10 minutes today for another interview, work starts tomorrow though. 8.40 appointment to get the rest of the veneer off, filed and an impression taken, then a temporary veneer fitted for two weeks when the new one should be ready.
Why does it take so long? I thought one could be made in at least a week!
I am finding Tramadol helpful, I think they chill me out too. Only take 1 a day. I don't want to get hooked!
Pain is so tiring so I do hope your husband is sorted out soon, back pain is also terrible. Was it caused through an accident?
I too hope bsk is having a super break. Scotland is lovely.

Glad to hear your fingers are healing Emm. I think I just waited a week for my veneer. As long as they make a good job of it, that's the main thing.

I hope your husband gets some relief soon Marlene, constant pains wears you down.

I went up to the hospital tonight so that's my daughters operation over thank goodness, she was sitting up in bed tonight and looks well, they told her it could be 2 months before she gets the full benefit. I just hope it has been successful but it seems to have went well and she thinks very highly of the surgeon and will hopefully be home tomorrow.

Just to top it all my father-in-law was taken into hospital this morning. I had a frantic call from my mother-in-law when the ambulance called by the GP arrived as she was on her own. I was ringing around and spoke to her eldest son and he said he couldn't leave his wife as his mother-in-law had passed away a few hours earlier. I told the ambulance lady to just take them and I would sort something. I spoke to the daughter later and she said she would go to them straight after work. STRESSED is what I am and have felt rough all day.
I am off to have my blood pressure checked tomorrow. It should be a laugh if it is normal.

As I said throw it all at me and lets get it all over and done with LOL.

Anyway I am now sofa surfing Take Care all and try to relax!!!

We have had a lot of much needed rain but the warm sunny weather is back.

Thank goodness my blood pressure has dropped to normal. The nurse I saw was lovely and said they will monitor me until all this is worry is out of the way.
Rhona they sent my father-in-law home and then he went straight back in the next morning. I was so cross with them all. He is so frail and needs 24/7 care and mum-in-law just cannot cope. The family have to work and no one seems to care about that. I am sure it will all resolve its self in the end.

Rhona you have your daughter home, yippee, and you have your oven, that's good, It was quick delivery, but things are nowadays.
I woke up about 2.30 am and didn't get back off to sleep, got up for a cuppa at some point.
Just dropped off to sleep at 5 this evening on the settee for one and a quarter hours. I feel a bit better for it!
Marlene how aweful, sending your father in law out of hospital, things are just not the same these days. The constant changes in the health service are scary! They have been for a long time now. I do hope all your family problems do not make your health worse. It is true, never rains but pours!
But try to take care and I hope his care can be arranged.
I have been invited to go for the day to York tomorrow and even at this late time of day have not made my mind up if I have the energy to go! I seem more fatigued in the heat, but I know everyone is. I am still enjoying it though.

That's a shame that you didn't get away with your friends Emm but never mind there will be other times. At least you have the sunshine to enjoy. It is not so nice here, yesterday was pleasant enough but this morning doesn't look too promising and there is a bit of a wind. My daughter is doing ok but her eye is sore and itchy and it's driving her mad but I remember being told when a wound starts to itch that's it getting better so I hope that applies to the eye as well. Yes, we got the oven fitted Emm, a friend of my husband is an electrician and he came and fitted it. I haven't used it yet as we went out for dinner on Thursday night and last night it was my slow cooker I used. I'm trying to keep it clean lol.

Marlene, I hope your husband had a worthwhile visit yesterday, that was good that you managed to get a cancellation. Let us know how he got on.

My daughter that lives in Spain is on holiday in Ibiza just now and her friend was looking after her little pup, I can't remember if I told you she bought a black toy poodle a couple of months ago. Well she got a call this morning to say it has gone missing along with her friends little white poodle, they think they have been stolen. My daughter is heartbroken and that will be her holiday ruined. Her friend had left them in the garden for a short time while she went to make a coffee and when she went out they had gone. How can people be so cruel.

Rhona sorry about your daughters missing poodle. It seems to be happening more often, dog theft. Some people are despicable. The crimes they stoop to. Dogs are part of the family aren't they. We love them like our children!
Woke up with yellow gunge in my eye today, don't usually have eye problems, I hope I can get something over the counter for it as I am sick of going to the doctors. It seems just one thing after the other!
Nice here again today but loads of rain forecast for tomorrow, am going to the cinema tomorrow with 3 friends so it won't interfere with that!

Bsk, I am hurting a lot but that comes with running around all day being a nurse.
My brother is going to take my mum home with him for a week to give me some breathing space. To be honest I am feeling pretty low. It is just a waiting game now. I am so worried about all the drugs hubby is still taking.

I have been using my walking stick lately and I hate it. It makes me feel old LOL. I have developed a really painful knee.

That's good that your brother is taking your mother for the week Marlene, I hope that makes things a bit easier for you. As bsk says you have to look after yourself too.

I hope your knee improves bsk. I have quite a few sticks but I didn't really think they helped. When I was in hospital last year I was given a crutch and I found that better to use as it went round my elbow and was more comfortable to use although I hated using it too but if you need it and it helps then better to use it.

I am feeling very stressed myself, my younger daughter is having some problems and I am worried sick about her. I can't believe the amount of things that keep happening, it's one thing after another.

morning everyone, Rhona so sorry to hear your youngest is having a bad time. It is awful for us when our kids are hurting for what ever reason. I am sure your daughter will take comfort in knowing she has great parents that are there for her. I hope her problems are all sorted soon.

It is 10 o'clock and I am still laying on my bed waiting for the pain meds to work. I am not going anywhere until later in the day so I have decided to chill as they say. I feel shattered and have made an appointment for next week to see my GP.

Emm what a nuisance that the dog banged into your good knee. Rest it and with a bit of luck it may settle.

Bsk just read your post. Yesterday I pulled on a weed it wrapped itself round my wrist and guess what? Stinging nettle. My wrist is still red this morning and itchy. So as you say does it ever end? Take care of that bite you can do without an infection. What a year is very true.

A lazy day would do you good Marlene after everything you have been through. That sounds a nice doctor that you have and I think it is important that you can relate to your doctor. We have a new doctor although I haven't met her yet, our two old doctors retire in September.

Good morning, just had my breakfast and having a scout around my ipad while having a second cuppa and listening to breakfast telly before my shower. Popped in to see how you all are!
I am waiting in today for a lightweight vacuum for upstairs I ordered on line, hope it comes before 2pm or will have to cancel my hair appointment. I am tired of hugging my other upstairs with my bad legs and hands.
Bsk, I have had a couple of little bites in the house at night but yours sounds nasty, get it seen quickly as you say. I am pleased you have had a couple of nice social evenings.
Marlene sorry to hear your husband is not comfortable, hope he gets more comfortable soon. At least your GP is trying.
Rhona my knee has mended itself a little, don't think I need a jab for it, so thats good. I hope your daughter is seeing some improvement in her health problems too.

Rhona, are you having some good mother/daughter time, I love those special moments, as I have said before my Rachel lives in Switzerland and I do miss her and the children.
I agree a live in chef would be a great.
I went to see the Lone ranger yesterday with 2 friends, it was brilliant. I recommend it.
Hope your hip is a little better today.
It is my ankle that seems relentless at the moment, it just won't improve.

Hi bsk. Did the tingling not stop when you stopped the Enbrel? Always best to get checked out even if the chance of getting MS would be slight. It is a worry with all the nasty side effects. Good that she is seeing you in 6 weeks again.

Hello ladies, having a very tired, achy day today. It is 12.40 and I have not done much yet. I feel a bit guilty although I tell myself not to.
Bsk, I cannot have bio's either, always wished I could try them but because of infections can't. I do hope you can manage your arthritis ok while off them. Am pleased you like your new consultant, it matters I think that you feel at ease with them. I hope your test results will be ok too. Which joint did you get injected?

Hi Ladies, Bsk sorry I haven't been on so full of pain the last few days and you know me I like to just be on my own until I feel a bit better.
The pain is not so bad to-day I rested up yesterday and this morning. My brother took my mum for a while to give me a break. So a little less to do. Actually a lot less to do.

My hubby is still waiting for an appointment so I will be ringing them tomorrow. I know he isn't the only patient they have but the surgeon hasn't even written to the GP to change his drugs. Everything is so slow!!!!!

Bsk pleased to hear the injection has you feeling good. I read the tests you have to have and you must be worried. I am sure you will be fine and they are just ruling everything out.It is good they are being very thorough with you. Take care and big hug for you!!

Hi Ladies, well good news!!!!1 Hubby's operation date has come 10th September going tomorrow for pre op assessment. I know it is still a month away but thank goodness the light at the end of the tunnel is shining through. He can't wait he is so fed up and still on all the meds and just hates it.
I have been awake on and off all night with the pain just wondering if its the rain on the way that is not helping along with all this stress.

Rhona enjoy your break with your daughter. I am thinking about booking a week away when all this is over. I might try for Fuerteventura if I can get a last minute break out there.

Bsk thanks for caring at least you are aware that my thing is to go very quiet when the pain is really bad. I hope your injection is still helping you.

Hi everyone I thought my knee was a new problem but looking back at some posts I can see I had some trouble with it in 2011 so maybe just a blip (fingers crossed).
It is a funny morning with the weather sunny cloudy then wind then a lovely gap from the wind and warm sun. Rain later have got the washing done hope it will dry. (hate tumble drying).
I am enjoying this week-end doing as little as I can. My mum bless her will be back Monday or Tuesday she has been having a lovely time. Spent two days at her old club. Seen her granddaughter great granddaughter and great great granddaughter with my brother five generations I can't wait to see pictures. What a legacy five generations!!!!!
I couldn't imagine how proud she must feel.

Hi everyone, just caught up with the last few posts.
bsk, is it a cold you are starting with? Hope it passes quickly.
It is a viscious circle of pains and bugs and fatigue for us. We do get sick and tired of it, so I sympathise with you and send you a big hug!
Marlene, you seem to have a lot of support from your family, thats good. I like a nice head massage too, at the hairdressers, it is lovely.
My friend has stayed at the Edinburgh Carlton and says it is the most comfortable hotel bed she has slept in.
We always stay at the Mercure on Princes Street, we go at least once a year. It is 3 star, but it is in such a good position it suits us fine. The dining room has a great view of the Castle and the hotel is next door to Jenners the department store.
We usually go Early December when the ice rink and Christmas market are on, so it is really handy for those.
I hope you get to go soon.
Rhona, how are you? Not too bad I hope! Has your daughter gone home yet? Hope you had a lovely time together!
I have been to the cinema again this week and out to lunch with friends. Still got a swollen ankle, but trying not too let it stop me. I bought a floor steam mop for the kitchen floor today and tried it out, it is good, another labour saving tool for me, to make life easier!!! I have taken to getting anything that makes chores easier.
I keep thinking of a stair lift but haven't acted on it yet. Probably will next time my knee flares and I get scared on the stairs.

Emm a stair lift sounds good to me. My mother-in-law has one and she uses it for everything. sending her washing up and down, taking up bathroom stuff after shopping. Sending up cups of tea. She loves it.

I have hip pain to-day and full up with pain meds and feeling miserable. Just keeping fingers crossed it is poor posture rather than another joint with OA.

My daughter went back to Spain yesterday. We had a lovely couple of days in Aviemore and the weather was perfect. The scenery around that area is beautiful with many lochs and mountains and good fresh air.

Hi Rhona, so glad you had a good time with your daughter. Aviemore sounds like my ideal chill out holiday.

They changed my hubby's med from Amytripline to Gabapentin and I cannot believe the difference in him. He is so much better.

I have to go to my GP my pain is now hip leg and knee exactly how I was when I needed surgery I just cannot be laid up now!!! I am resting up all the time. this is so worrying I don't think I could face more surgery keep your fingers crossed for me. I am telling myself it is just where I have been over doing it.
What a pair we are now LOL.

Emm I hope your bloods are ok. I also feel tired all the time it is all this pain I am sure.

Blood was up to 12, so they are not giving me any iron, don't they scare you when they ring and say 'there is a problem'....
Rhona Aviemore sounds lovely, I have just passed it en route to Dornock in the past. Dornock was lovely too, as you say beautiful clear air. There was lichen growing on the trees. That is supposed to mean extra clean air, I think that is what the guide said. I love Scotland. I would like to go to the Tattoo next year.
Hope your daughter got back safely and am so glad you had a super time.
Marlene I hope you don't need surgery too! You have so much to cope with at present, nice to hear hubby has pain relief though.
I do hope things start to get better for you both.

Hello Lynn, lovely to see you on here but sorry things are not good for you. I'm off my enbrel because of neurological symptoms. At the risk of upsetting people on anti tnfs, I'm beginning to think these drugs are just not good for you. Am surviving on steroids at the moment, not great but waiting for an appointment with a neurologist. Supposed to be 'urgent' but no sign of it yet.

Rhona, did you have a good time with your daughter? I'm feeling a lot better today after a decent sleep last night.

Being off the enbrel is starting to cause me problems. My knee has flared and my wrist and ankles and am up on the steroids again. Very impressive service from NHS this morning. Phoned my nurse and left a message telling her what is going on. Ten minutes later my consultant rang me with a plan to help. She says my pred dosage is so low I'm virtually untreated - which of course explains a lot. I've got to ring on Monday if I'm not better and they will have a look at my knee. Amazing!

Glad to hear that your husband is getting some relief and not too long now for his operation. You will be glad when it's all over Marlene. At lease there is light at the end of the tunnel now.

I'm not too bad at the moment although my feet have been hurting. My throat is a bit better now but the same thing happened last week after I took the methotrexate, that's a couple of times this has happened so I have cut the dose down and if it happens again this week then I will know for sure that's what's causing it, probably because my 'B' cells have been depleted with the rituximab and now more prone to infection.

It has turned really quite cold here, it was raining earlier but I see the sun has come through, I think it is just teasing me but I hope it stays for a wee while, not looking forward to the winter. Haven't the nights started to close in a bit.

Hi Willis, sorry I've lost track of threads - are you giving up work completely? You'll sound find something else to keep you occupied, I guarantee!

I love my steroid jabs - sad but true but the one I had recently didn't help as much as I'd wished so my rheumy doubled my pred for 10 weeks, dropping down over another two weeks. I'm due to see her again at the end of the month so can discuss things fully. Still waiting for my 'urgent' neurological appointment! Off on holiday on Thursday and slightly worried how I will cope with my knee as it is quite rural where I am going. Knee support, walking stick and painkillers I suspect!

Hope you get your jab soon.

Sorry to hear that you're not feeling so good Emm. Poor you. Have you made an appointment to see the doctor? It is hard when you take something else on top of the usual pain but hopefully it will soon pass. I get days too when I get so fed up with everything but then the next day can be a bit better and you do seem a positive person so better days are round the corner, so try and keep your chin up. Hi Ladies, well my pain is not improving it is the OA so I am trying to deal with it the best I can.

Hubby in for op next Tuesday!!

My neighbour came laden with Victoria Plums so for the first time I have made Jam and I have to say it is lovely. I also made Plum crumble and have frozen it ready for the cold winter days. The country living has grabbed me with both hands.
We have planted our first pear tree a present from our son. We are going to buy some more fruit trees. We have a gooseberry bush Red and blackcurrant bushes. Oh yes and a lovely glut of Rhubarb crumbles in the freezer. They will make me a country girl yet LOL.
At least this is all taking my mind off the pain.
I haven't been posting as you know Bsk I shut myself away a bit I know I shouldn't but that is just my way.

I had the same feeling when husband went for his op - i don't know how i did it but i got there, now i'm the one needing looked after again lol
after blood tests, docs are sending me for more as wants to check B12 levels and iron - no wonder i've been feeling so weary! my diet is, well, rubbish so any vitamins or that he can give me all the better.

Hi Rhona, left hubby waiting for surgery lovely staff and hospital so I feel a little better. Spoke to the surgeon before I left. I am hopeful that his surgery will be done at lunch time. Going back at six so I will post and let you know how he got on.
I am glad to say I feel quiet a bit better to-day. I need to be well to be able to look after him when he comes home. Maybe with some luck after hubby has recovered things will settle down for a while. Forever hopeful.

Hello ladies,

I am so pleased things are going well for your husband and yourself Marlene, you have both had a rough time.

I have had a lot of stress because my daughter had a scare, she had an ovary and fallopian tube removed because of a growth but luckily it was benign!!! It was Wonderful to get the news as I was so worried.

I have not been so good either, I had tests but all were clear so it may be diverticulitis pain, which I was diagnosed with about 6 years ago. It doesn't normally cause me much problems but maybe all the worry and stress causes it, I don't know.
It has not settled down yet, so am not venturing very far at present.
Luckily my daughter's mother in law stayed with them and did household chores to help out. I do feel guilty that I am not fit enough to fly over but would probably be more of a hindrance than a help.
She had surgery not keyhole as was planned because of the tumor and so will take longer to heal. But she is doing well.

I have had a real lazy day today, I actually watched an old John Wayne cowboy on TV today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Took me back to being a child and watching them with my dad. I always felt sorry for the indians and wanted them to win.

I hope to be more productive tomorrow.

It has been dull today and I am not at my best on these type of days, think a bit of S.A.D. Comes into it.

Thanks Marlene, It was such a shock for my whole system.

Do you know she was examined initially, scanned two days later, saw the aneathaetist day after and operated on two days later and now on the mend. That IS great treatment, Switzerland, no time to get too worried. Wish it was like that here!

Oh I have a lovely mental picture of you and hubby lying together de-stressing. Thats lovely.
Good luck with a speedy recovery for him and less worry for you Marlene.

Hi Ladies,Wow Emm how quick was that no time to think about it fantastic. My daughter-in-law has found a lump on her boob and has had an examination now has to have a scan still waiting two weeks later.

I am sofa surfing now hubby sleeping and mum up the village hall helping out with the washing up. I am making the most of every bit of me time to put my feet up as my hip is healing well. It has been so painful so I am trying for a change to do as I am told.(LOL).

Its seems we can say goodbye to the summer!! It has been sunny for a while but the wind is whipping up and it looks like rain. I hope the weather is not too bad where you are Rhona I did see the forecast for Scotland on the news last night.
My son is 40 today.
I can't believe where all the years have gone my youngest will be 40 next year. Oh dear I must be getting old!!!!!
On a brighter note I hope BSK has had a good time.

Hi Marlene, I hope your daughter-in-law will be OK, it seems to be one thing after another with us but things will work out in the end. Don't be doing too much now that you feel a bit better. Your Mum must be settling in well to the village life if she is at the village hall helping out.

It has been a horrid day here today, wind and rain and getting really quite chilly.

Sorry that you are still sore Emm, it probably is a good idea to see the doctor about the pain in your side. Hope all is ok.

Hi Marlene, It's the same here, very cold and windy and I haven't been across the door today. I am feeling really quite sore. My shoulder is really hurting and it is causing pains to shoot through my head every now and then and my poor ankles are hurting. I am feeling rather scunnered today. Sorry, I will be depressing you all but never mind, tomorrow is another day and perhaps things will be better. I have just remembered, I am going to get my hair done tomorrow so perhaps that will brighten me up a bit lol.

Did you go to the doctor Emm? I hope you got on alright.

Hello Ladies,
I went to the doctors yesterday after having nasty symptoms for nearly three weeks. She gave me buscopan, but last night I was in so much pain I went back today and saw a different doctor who prescribed 2 different antibiotics, 1 for the chest and 1 for diverticulitis as he thinks it may be an infection.
I was diagnosed with this in 2009 but it has not been a big problem so if this does'nt work I have to have another colonoscopy!
So I have 3 illnesses, diverts' bronchiectasis and RA. To manage.
I do get scared at times with all the medication. So tomorrow I have to ring RA nurse to see if I should take methatrexate whilst on these antibiotics.

Bsk , so pleased you had good weather and a good break in France. I was going to classes last year for French.
Rhona don't worry I am also having a moan. Hope you improve soon.
Going to pop heating on now as it is chilly.

Hi Ladies, firstly nice to have you back BSK so glad you had a lovely holiday and the weather was good to you. Don't worry about the weight it will soon go. I always say putting on weight is a sign of a great holiday.LOL

Emm, I hope you get on top of that infection you poor girl. I am sure you are a tough cookie and won't let it get to you. Just got over chest infection and Bursitis myself so I know how miserable it can make you. Big hug xx

Rhona, I am also hurting everywhere sure sign winter is here!!! I always find going to the hairdressers makes me feel better also. Just a bit of me time is good for us all.

Hubby coming along just fine fingers crossed it carries on. Booked our flu jabs to-day can't believe it is that time of the year already.

Thanks Bsk glad you had a good break. I hope your appointment goes well. Bsk we have all been going through so much this year what is going on? . Emm with her daughter now Rhona how horrible for them. My daughter-in-law still waiting.
On the plus side we all seem to cope very well my son always tells me every time I have a crisis and come out the other side I become stronger. I think he is right.
Glad to say hubby still doing really well and he is talking about going back to work soon always a good sign.
I am sore this cold weather is to blame LOL.

Well take care and wrap up I just wore a little jacket the other day and I was cold all the time we were out. I won't be doing that again.
