Hi everyone, haven't been on much as cutting down on meds and withdrawals are nightmare. Started swimming for exercise but also to try to get my head in a better place. Was falling into a dark place and cant go back there. On a lighter note the leisure centre i go to has a hydra pool and im finding it very good - so far. Muscles and joints painful from activity but taking it easy. Hope everyone well. Xxx

Good for you Patsy. They do say that swimming is the best exercise for arthritis. I haven't been in ages but i used to really enjoy it. I might give it a try again soon but it has been a few years. Keep it up! x

Patsy, it will pass and then you can get back to swimming. I do tai chi. I must have done something, because my hip and thigh hurt like hell. I couldn't sleep. After a few days the pain subsided and I was able to resume my tai chi. I have also arranged to go swimming with my daughter and grandchildren. What a pity they don't have hot tubs or hydra pools in all swimming pools.
