Subject: Doctors notes to DLA....what a 'laugh'

I received the copy of the doctors notes that were sent to DLA, and after reading them even I'd refuse myself DLA reading them. But what annoys me is, did he really see me that morning. I went into the surgery with my walking stick, he asked me to climb onto the couch, I struggled and needed assistance. He tried to test my reflexes, struggle but eventually happened. I take beta blockers to calm me for panic attacks, and what does he say 'I manage to stand and sit with ease'..'I take no regular meds for anxiety'...oh yes 'and my gait is fine'. My chiropractitioner confirmed my posture is poor and I tend to lean to the right. So, now I know the doc is totally at fault on this refusal of DLA. So, as Im a new patient to this group practice, Ive decided a double appointment is necessary as Im going to make the doctor in attendance, sit and go through every damned pill and potion and its reasons why Im taking it. Oh yes, and I think its about time they brought on a pain specialist, they can keep the physiotherapy recommendations, if they want me to swing my legs about they can bloody well do it for me. I am soooo mad at this, just don't put that doctor who wrote the report alone in a room with me and my menopause.

Having seen my medical files when i saw a private doctor about early retirement, it was at least two to three inches thick. My GP would not give my employers any information, so i had to give them permission to access my medical files.
