Subject: need some advice on PA
had right hip replacement last year, I am still in lots of pain in lumber region and bottom of pelvis have had x-rays which show slight wear but nothing to cause pain and fatigue, doctor has now finally suggested it might be PA (I've been trying to tell them this for two years) can anyone give me a prognosis and a list of questions to ask when I see the specialist. I am booked in for a scan and to see a skin specialist but my posture and mobility are becoming really unbearable and I don't think I can wait another two years.

Hi Margaret, if you are having the tests done I am sure they will get to the bottom of it all. Try to be patient it is a long drawn out thing getting diagnosed correctly but you will get there. Chin up and hang in there X.
