Subject: ESA BACK PAY?

Can someone plz tell me .. when you win an appeal via esa does your money get back dated to the day of orginal atos medical as stated on the appeal decision letter OR is it back dated to the 14th week you first applied ? Also if put in the wrag group do you still have to supply sick notes ? regards kazz

hi kazz , think its back dated to when you applied ie. the date you put on your claim , dont know about the sick notes , only know you dont in the support group

if you dont hear anything from them within a few weeks , phone them up & remind them you won your appeal

mine was the 14th week but cant be certain, the back pay was a massive amount as it was for almost 2 years lol.

it can take up to 6 weeks to receive the payment as the communication between the tribunal people and the esa lot is rather slow.

Im in the WRAG group and don't have to hand in sick notes anymore x

thank you colin thank you kirst .. i rung themin the end is back dated to the 14th week of your claim i was told so thats good new sofa i think fed up with a numb bum lol
