Hi Colin,
Glad to hear that you have had more movement's in some joint's that's amazing.
And to hear that you have no problem's with the injection site is all good.
Sorry to hear about the flare and yes it is coming off the steriod's and presume that is why you are tired but am sure you know all this, but hopefully will not be much longer.
I think that is the lowest crp I have ever heard of mine was down to 5 but am sure it is up now due to all the mini flare's I have been having.
Hope this drug really work's for you it is sounding good so far.
Good luck Colin and let us know how you get on and take it easy and look after yourself Deborah.

hi Deborah , how long did it take to work , the Medco nurse said about 6 weeks & is coming back on the 16th next month when I do the second injection

one thing , its says with RA , you have to take methotrexate to qualify for this drug but with PsA & AS you dont , seems very strange ruling from NICE

Hi Colin,
I found with the drug it seemed to work within a few day's of taking it could not believe it I had more energy than I had for year's and even felt like I had a new body. And in some case's it can take up to six week's
So hope it will be the same for you.

I must just say that it has not been as effective as it was and staring to notice that it will work for a week now and then much the same but I go back on my higher dose of methrodrexate today which they reduced as I was doing so well on Golumamab and then not so well big flare up with the back and mini flare's since and have started naproxen as well and have found that help's. So looking forward to today.

It is strange I have PSA and I had to be on methrodrexate in order to qualify for the Bio-logic's, but my son has AS and he did not have to be on methrodrexate and he has started Humria so yes is very strange.

I think it must be up to the consultant to decide. I live in Northern Ireland and maybe that has some to do with it.
How are you feeling today Colin? I hope your flare has eased a bit. All the best Deborah.
