Subject: Wrong diagnosis?

Just wondering...do any of you with seronegative ever doubt your diagnosis?

I've not really had any long-term relief from RA meds (even anti TNF) and I honestly wonder if it is lupus or similar. Does anyone else feel the same or has anyone been misdiagnosed?

Also, how do you get your diagnosis reassessed? Is it even possible?

hi Rose

your Rheumatoligist is who would treat you for Lupus & as it goes with RA , think he/she would notice

most seronegative arthritis are treated the same as RA with the same drugs , the anti-tnf drugs dont always work & most of us here are on second or third & started Golimumab myself this week after being on enbrel before

talk to your GP about your worries , they will know your history & hope you feel better soon
