Subject: back into flare :(
well ive been in remission for ages now and ven made it through the winter relatively pain free. Two weeks ago i woke up in the nught with whatfelt loke flu and feet that were enormous and hotter than a ketle.so i rang the nurse and they booked me in for bloods with the undestanding that if i have elevated bloods the rummy would post me out a script for sulphasaline (cant spell it lol. so on saturday there was my script on tge door mat! i sort of expected it with tge swelling and pain but its come on witu no warning and im now back on DMARDS. fell let down, frusterated, angry all mixed together and im finding it hard to gt my head around it.

Hi Kirst well i'm in remission for the second time but not hopeful that it will last . don't mean to be pessimistic but it's as if my body gets use to the meds then starts hurting all over again. I was to see doc at end of march but ended up in there two weeks before for steroid jab for a flare i'd been having Its so frustrating as you say but hopefully the meds sulfuz.... (can't spell it either lol) will kick in and work for you. do let us know how you go and keep your spirits up as best you can.xx

its just so frustrating ive just upped the dose of sulfuz today and feeling ok, just slightly sickly but its not bad. I have loads of work to be getting on with on the computer but no sooner do I start the pain decides to go crazy. Ive got wrist supports so they help but sitting for more than 15 min in the chair causes havoc with my back and hips. Im nackerd all the time! Im a volunteer teaching assistant in a primary school 3 days a week, so im lucky they are on school holidays but im really dreading going back next week. I just don't want it to affect what I do! and don't want to have to call in sick ether. :( not sure how it will pan out. Ive got a nurse appointment on the 18th so maby if I could get a steroid jab too! had a kenalog injection a few years back and it helped loads. x
