hi there im new to this site just wondering if any body else has this ? im currently waiting for a descion on dla ... been 8 weeks got letter saying they wrote to gp and rhuemy but the wait continuals Does anyone else get dla for this type of arthritis

hi Kazz , there is several on here with seronegitive RA , as for DLA they have tighten it up & its not so easy but if you cant walk very far then you should get it

how did you get on with the ESA , they put me into the support group without a medical so was pretty pleased as know those doctors cant be trusted , I would get someone to help you like the CAB , there is a forum about ESA appeals , copy & paste link & check it out http://thefullfacts.com/esa/forum/viewforum.php?f=26&sid=955263a34575024189c8eee253784d84

got it on 17th ill go meself dont need help i feel like its my illness i will tell them how much pain im in im abit independant like that .. fingers crossed just hope i get decsion from dla before i go to the esa tribunual

Kazz it may be good to just take a bit of advice from CAB as they are getting so tough with DLA.They may just be able to tell you what they will be asking. All the appealing stuff can be a big strain on you and stress you can do without. Judging by some of the girls and guys on here it can be tough getting what you deserve. I wish you luck with whatever you decide andlet us know how you get on. Take care

thank you marlene got letter this morning 3rd one saying sorry we have not made a decsion yet but we are waiting for a report from the gp ..my gp said he is doing it the weekend so fingers crossed ill here something soon :)

thank you hun i will let you know when i recieve that dreaded brown letter lol gp said he would sent his report the weekend so any day now ...does anyone also get lower back pain with ra -?im waiting for my mri scan results too for that .. waitin game drags dont it

update*** got my esa tribunaral on wednesday am stillwaiting for decision for dla claim as they STILL waiting for report from my gp and consultant so im thinking im gonna fail the esa asi only got 9 points at atos medical - any advice plz would be grateful many thanks kazz

kazz , did you go to anyone like the CAB , they realy know what to do , helped my son win a incapacity appeal even though getting 0 points from the medical , you need to know what you put in the questionare & what they have given yourself + have you got any letters from your GP & Consultant to back you up

your joking ive applied for dla and my gp and rhuemy after 9 weeks still have not replied to numerous requests from dla theres no way id get a letter fromeither they cant even do that lol ive got appointment letters and diagnosis letters mri letter etc that willhave to do plus i will take my bloods card my steriods card and my prepeat priscription that will have to do col
