Hi Laura
Just to let you know my niece uses pain patches and some times she finds it hard to get threw the day with out them she has two very young boys and suffers badly with fibro
So yes she would recommend the pain patches

hey laura have you tried Gabapentin or Pregabalin (think that's how they are spelt)?

I started gabapentin 3 weeks ago and have already noticed a difference.

I wanted the patches but the madam in the pain clinic said I was too young to start on something like that, I was 25 at the time! shocking as I was taking nefopam, tramadol and paracetamol, naproxen and pregabalin at the time and still in pain!

hiya no never heard of those loli did go to my doctor and said about pain patches but said cos of the cocktail of meds im on there isn't a lot I can have (to pour salt in wound im also lactose intolerant ) doc gave me strong dose of ibeprophen which has no effect at all lol but seeing rheumy in may so I think I will hang on and ask him and in mean time plod on lol
