hi , never read that but naproxen is very similar to dicofenac , the nhs site says same for both drugs

if you are worried , there is free helplines in the link section above , NRAS & arthritis care both have them , btw 10mg Mtx is pretty low so would not worry to much

Everyone's different but I didn't get on with Naproxen. Within three days of taking it my stomach was in agony & very bloated, but then I do suffer with IBS & problems with my stomach. I was given another, more expensive drug that protects your stomach called Arcoxia, so you could ask for this if you don't get on with the Naproxen. Or take a drug called Omprezole to take with it, which helps protect the stomach. Good luck.

I am talking Naproxen and i also have IBS,got arthritis in both of my knees, not had any trouble with my stomach.Speaking about IBS Nicola have you tried drinking Aloe Vera juice,my friend told me to drink it and now my IBS has virtually gone,i told a couple of people at work about this and it worked for them also.I have not had IBS pain for a few years now and don't have the Aloe Vera anymore,if i get the pain back i just go out and buy some more.Back to naproxen can you talk any painkillers with it?I am talking Devils Claw,i still have a little pain.

Thanks for the Aloe tip, I have heard of that before, and think I might of tried it a long time a go, but will give it another try. I think my IBS is mainly due to food intolerances, I'm already on a gluten free diet, but have recently done another exclusion diet and found tomatoes & eggs to be aggravating my stomach too.

You can take other painkillers with naproxen but not other NSAID's I'm taking paracetamol & codeine at the moment as currently experiencing a flare up. I don't know anything about devils claw, does it help you?
