Subject: Getting pregnant with RA

Hi, i have a question about pregnancy. I was just planning to try for a second child, but started with suspected RA 3 months ago. I am still in the process of being diagnosed.

The problem is, if i want to have another baby, there is no point starting on any medication, if i am diagnosed with RA.

I cant imagine going through a pregnancy and looking after a new born, with this pain! Would love to hear if anyone has done it and survived ok! ?

hi vicky i am at the moment trying for a baby and been of meds for a year now, you need to accept the pain and understand it will be very hard but rewarding. also the other thing is you do get the doctors waning to stop any damage now before any happen. i had symptoms through pregnancy which doctors put to aches and pains but after my son was born i was tested and was postive, maybe it goes in to remission but i can't say so yet x

good luck and you will make the right discussion for you
