Subject: seen rheumatologist

hi all I went to see my rheumatologist today I never thought I would hear myself say this but my new consultant is fantastic. he has only ever met me once when he had to drain fluid off my knee (hideous experience lol) he examined me and said my knee was a lot better there is only a small amount of fluid but because I have cellulitis my skin needs to heal more before they consider doing anything he even apologised for when he did it last time saying it was traumatic because I didn't expect it. I honestly couldn't believe it was same department lol I have to go for mri scan and x-ray to double check there isn't an arthritis flare up as I explained last week I have started getting pain in my knee it could just be fibro but I can normally tell the difference:)

Hi Laura, sounds more positive for you and I am so glad things are moving on. When you have results from the MRI I am sure things will be sorted at long last. Chin up and take care.
