I saw your post and have started a new topic for you. You don't say wether your knee is OA or RA. Tramadol can be taken with Co-dydramol but only if prescribed by your GP. Try a hot water bottle on your knee and put your legs up on the sofa and take the weight off your knee. I hope this helps Take Care

marlene i cannot take co-dydramol allegic to it i have OA also have been told would not be able to have the injections in the knee and to young for operation. the pain seems to take over my life at the moment. do not know what else i can do. regards rosemary

Hi Rosemary, the winter time is bad for all of us no matter which type of Arthritis. Oh for the summer!!! Have you a nice hot water bottle, feet up and rest that knee!!! The pain gets us all down but chin up and take care xx

marlene thanks for the reply sorry have not been online as notebook went wrong, however going to physio tommorrow and ortopedic appointment on the 18th jan so will have to see what they can do!

i went to see the ortopedic today and they are going to send an appointment for the mri scan she has mentioned i may have to have arturosopy surgery. and in the mean time have given me a walking stick to help with the posture. i feel a little bit better now knowing i will be getting some form off treatment soon.
