Have a look at the Arthritiscare.org.uk site, they are quite disparaging about the claims for the product. Due to a temp. blip you will need to enter site by doing a web search for celadrex scrolling to Arthritis Care and following link dated 10sep2008... hope this helps

I believe that celadrin can be helpful for joint pain. I have read that it works well when combined with glucosamine. It is available in pill form and also as a cream to be applied topically. I nkow of many who claim that the celadrin works best when they took both the pill and applied the cream as well. I would definitely give it a try. I found both for a good price at this site: http://www.seacoastvitamins.com/topic.php?health=doctor%27s+best+celadrin

Can anybody tell me whether to go for celadrex or celadrin? I understand that celadrex contains some anti-inflamatory - does anyone know if these are not recommended for someone with a heart condition as Cox and Cox2 anti-inflamatories are discouraged in the UK. Any advice will be appreciated, or direction to any well informed web-site. Thanks in anticipation.

Hiya Kim,
I have used both celedrin and celedrex at different times one for 3 months and the other for only 1 month but unfortunately I saw no change in my RA.I have heard good reports about both though, so it must suit some.
I did however find that the celedrin cream when put on my painful knees, did take away the discomfort, only for a short time but I used up the tube. Dont know anything about the heart thing but if you dont get what you want from here, why not contact the company that sells them and ask??
Just a thought.

I have been taking glucosamine alone for a long time and it did not help my knee pain. I heard about Celadrin from a friend and have used both the cream and softgels for about 3 months by now. My knee pain is all gone and so is the swelling. Now
I take 500mg of glucosamine with 3 celadrin softgels per day and also rub the cream onto my knee twice a day. Hope this information helps.

I had polio as a child and now after years of walking out of sync I have a great deal of joint and muscle pain mainly in the shoulder. I am now wondering what to try. Celadrex and Litozin are two things I have read about would like to know if either of them is effective. I suppose things work differently on different people. I see from reading this page that Celadrex has worked in some cases.

I have been getting good results from using the new version of Artrosilium which is FLEXILICA - the same base as artrosilium but includes chondroitin and glucosamine. I have osteoarthritis resulting in both knees, both hips being replaced and my back fused over three vertebrae. My shoulders, neck and wrists have been playing up to the point where I have had two cortisone injections in my right shoulder. Flexilica has not cured me but has certainly given me pain relief and free movement. Used in conjunction with ThermaLife, an Australian product, has been marvelous. One note of caution, do not buy FX-SILICA from Health Broadcasts, they provide abysmal service and do not provide any contact number or address.

I have a knee joint that is well worn. `Celaritis' which contains celadrin removes the pain for the day 5 minutes after application.
However I hear that like glucosamine it works for some but not all.

I recently found a great article in the People's friend about Active CareCream. All natural ingredients and is made in Scotland. There phone number is 0800 019 9932. Really has made a massive difference for me and I wouldn't be without it now. The cream is 12.90
