hi hon, how are you
i'm still in lots of pain, have an appointment to see gp tomorrow about pain clinic so hopefully sort that out.
i got my new car and its great had it 2 days and really better, this morning took lucus to play school and it was not pain that i was cry with by the other end, it was very stress free and almost relaxing to drive, i would recommend to anyone with left arm problems to get an automatic car.
had o/t up today for some more equipment and hopefully increase my position up the disability facilities grant for a small extension to have a downstairs shower/toilet. at the moment i'm number 77 but she is going to add me to priority hopefully anyway how are you honney, hows they weather been where you are? have you managed to get some gardening done? x x

Sorry you are still in a lot of pain, Me too and this damp weather doesn't help at all.
So pleased for you with your new car, what a relief it must be. Anything that makes life easier for you.Idont drive at all.
Hope you get your grant soon what a great help that would be a shower/toilet downstairs.I will keep fingers crossed for you.Hope she manages to push you forward a bit. The weather here is damp greay and cold so no gardening for me. I also have had lots of pain.Nothing new there.
Well take care hope the family well. Mother-in-law going in for her op on the 29th of this month the sooner the better for her she is so scared bless her. xxxxxx

i drove to london this week to see family and i can tell you it was the best drive i have done in a long time, i wasn't pain free but less pain which is good and no worry of changing gears. this weather is horrible its got so cold quickly and its driving my pain up, just waiting to see doctor next week for refural to pain clinic so well see x

So glad the car is of help to you.Its lovely to see the family.
The sun is shining but it is freezing doesn't help any of us. Away on hols soon so I should get a bit of resbite in the sun.wishing.lol

Hi Davina,
Just wanted to say Hi! and wondering how thing's are going for you.
I know you have not been very well from reading post's.
I have had a few rough week's myself but am on a drug called Golimumab this is my second month and have noticed a change feel a bit brighter in the morning's and feel energy level's improving so finger's crossed it continue's although I have a pain in my right lung at the moment so hope it is not a lung infection with being on the drug. There is a viral bug going around at the moment I had it for a few day's was in bed most of wednesday as the only time my stomach would settle was laying flat thank goodness feeling a bit better today and am hoping the pain in my lung is something to do with that.
Everyone I know has had it but I have got of lightly compared to some I know.
So hope you are ok at the moment look after yourself Deborah.

hi Deborah i have not been well at all, its been a hard few months and i don't see it getting better in the near future.
bless you i hope the invection (lungs) clear up and don't do to much damage. is the golimumab a new med or is it not for ra?

Sorry to hear that you have not been feeling well.
The lung was ok it was just a bug thank goodness everyone in our family had it and I got off lightly compared to some so thank's for asking ok now.
I don't know if these are a new drug or not but they seem to work well for people with pa I have been on them for 2 month's now and must admit feel fantastic no pain and able to go for short walk's in fact feel younger I can't believe how they have helped me so well.
Although it could just be a short lived thing as I presume when your body get's used to a drug it will not be so effective but am going to enjoy everyday while it last's.long may it last.
How are you getting on with trying for a baby any luck yet?
I really do hope that all will get some of the relief that I have felt for the last couple of week's It is amazing just how unwell we are but finger's crossed.
