Subject: Wallets

Hi everyone, Getting my credit cards out of my wallets is a pain, it is very uncomfortable to sort through my wallet and get the credit card I need when paying at store.
Have any of you come up with any solutions or found a wallet that might be easier?
I hope one day we have a device that can store all this information and we didn't need to carry a wallet.

I have this problem. My mother, who had really bad osteo used to take a small purse with the one card she needed and cash. Now I know why!

I do it sometimes and always empty my purse of change and take unneeded keys off key ring. Try and travel as light as possible these days. How men manage I will never know lol!

bsk, thanks for the idea i'll try that. It is a painful and frustrating situation paying at the store sometimes.
Like I said before, I hope someday there will be an electronic device that could carry the card info and all we had to do was get it scanned to pay for things.

I sometimes put my card in a small purse as its easier.i also find a cross body bag much easier and they are fashionable, i always used a shoulder bag but it was always slipping off my shoulder and it was sore getting it back on

Hopefully we will soon be able to pay using our phones. Look forward to that day! Rhona, I can't use cross body bag much, hurts my shoulder - maybe I'm still putting too much in it lol!

When we are able to pay with our phones that will be so helpful. I saw some concepts looking online and there are a few concepts for future electronic wallets that would store all the information on the device, they look wonderful, but they are so thin which will still cause pain.

The idea of the separate purse is good one. In Belgium we have to carry Identity cards and my purse is designed with a special holder on a chain. But I struggle wih all the other cards and when presenting my hospitalization card recently, the rest went flying! Very embarrassing! I got myself a bag which rests on my back. Comfortable but unnerving when in crowds.

Any body else have any ideas or solutions on how to deal with the wallet.

I tried sticking tabs on my cards and Identification cards so i can pull on those and get them out from my wallet but its still hard to deal with.

Shopping can be stressful as it is and then having to get out the wallet at the register can add to stress and pain.
