Oily fish is good for r/a, although not a cure, as bsk says a healthy diet is best.

Gluten and wheat free diet seems to help with inflammation as gluten is quite similiar to the collagen in the body so immune system might react to gluten absorbed by the joint from my understanding. avoiding dairy also helps some people.

I've been gluten free for a few years. It hasn't done that much for my aches and pains but it has helped my ibs. It also helps keep my weight down.

Have you got Coeliac Disease Linda? For others, it's worth checking whether you are gluten intolerant or not before cutting it out of your diet as it won't help anything if you are not.

Not as far as i know, although i'm pretty sure i'm sensitive to gluten. I'd actually never heard of coeliac disease when it occured to me that it was the bread i was eating that was causing my diarrhea. Unfortunately when youv'e got lots of other symptoms, doctors aren't always interested.
