Subject: mood swings

hi i just wondered does anyone here with fibromyalgia have mood swings i suffer with deppression ( years ago before diagnosed with fibro) since i have been diagnosed with fibro my deppression is affected. my deppression is controlled with citalopram and has been for years for the last year or two i have found my moods are a nightmare one minute i am happy then im irritable and angry recently my mum keeps saying she is sick of my moods and says i have bipolar or problems so today i said right maybe i should see the doctor then maybe my meds need adjusting or maybe my old gp was too thick to notice i dont know what to do whats the point anyway im being sent to a shrink cos my idiot rheumatologist wouldnt sort my meds out so i had to threaten to come off my stupid tablets that dont even work mum says i should just wait and see the physchologist .

Anti depressants can become less potent the longer you are on them. Maybe you need to have those changed.
