Subject: Re: I failed my ESA Medical (inflammation in SI joints)
Hi Marlene, Thank you for your reply, My son has appealed so many time's but I tell him to keep trying. All everyone seem's to do is bang on about getting back to work, keep fit, swimming, eat well etc when none of these help,s any Arthiritis if anything they aggravate the disease even more. I have suffered with PA for 12 yrs and I have found that you listen to what your body tell's you because if you don't and just keep trying and pushing on and listening to doc's, gov etc you just end up worse and even more crippled and if you end up really crippled and end up in a wheelchair who is the one left to suffer you!! after all does anyone really care as long as they don't have to live with a horrible progressive disease. I can fully understand the gov wanting to cut down on a lot of abuse of the system, but surely all case's will have medical evidence to back up their claim.after all arthritis is hard to fake. The doc's will know that continued pressure on joint's affected by Arthiritis will only make it worse and the changeable climate that we live in does not do it any good. So I just can't understand this new system at all. Hope you are keeping well yourself Marlene and will let you know of any change. xx Deborah.
