hi i was on MTX 20mg injection a year ago and stopped it because it stopped my periods (i was 24 at the time) since stopping it for a year ive only had 4 periods.

ive heard of a few women having this experience with MTX as it can prevent ovulation but should return to normal after stopping the drug. If you are worried speak to the rummy or your nursing team.

hope you are well, kirst xxx

hi Suze, I have never posted on here before although do scan through now and again. I have been on MTX now for about 6 years and my periods have stopped for all this time, I did get a bit worried about being pregnant at first but was releived this was not the case!!
By the way I did have a break in my meds for a couple of months and my periods returned then stopped when I was back on it so it is definately the cause.
