Subject: Introduce myself

Hi

I am 44 yr old mum of 4 who has suffered OA in my toes ( 3 surgerys) fusion and its now quite severe in my neck, this is causing a loss of grip in my right hand some numbness and just a pain to be honest!! i am wondering if anyone else has hand/finger/elbow problems linked with Sponylosis

Hi Debbiedoo,

I think the symptoms you describe are quite common. Doesn't make it any easier to live with I know. Its to do with the spondylitic changes impinging or touching the nerves in your neck which supply the arms. You may get some relief with physiotherapy, worth a try. Ask your rheumy, there may be a specialist physio, failing that try the GP.
