Hi all,i have had RA for seven years now and stil dont have it under control,never really been on a forum befor 2 talk about it but have been having a bad time of things the past three weeks and feeling very low so thought i would give it a try.

Sorry for late reply, at the momment i am on Methotrexate 25mg along with pain killers but have also tried many more drugs along side this which have not worked and have just recently been on a drug trial which was not working so they took me off it.i am waiting 2 have drugs through a drip but due 2 infection have had 2 delay this untill it has cleared up.i have got worse in the past few weeks which has really got me down and bein single with tow kids does not help either although my girls are very good and do all they can 2 help me(bless um).

hi Sam welcome to forum , had RA long time myself like 16/17 years , the forum does help , can have bit of a rant with people knowing what your going through are they going to put you on one of the anti-tnf drugs & have you tried any of them before , results can be bit mixed but some are doing realy well on them you could ask them to add another Disease-modifying drug , I take Mtx 25mg + sulfasalazine + steriods at mo and at some point go onto infliximab but will be several months hope you fell better soon

hi Colin i have tried all the things you have said about and none of them seem 2 work 4 me as my doc would say i am a hard lady 2 please lol and they have no idea wot 2 do with me.
