Subject: does any 1 get electric shock pains through out body
hi all i have been getting these pains on and of for nearly a year im constantly being shocked all over my body it only lasts few seconds each spot but jumps from place to place in seconds. id describe the pain like some one had put tin foil on a filling but imagine the pain under the skin and not in your mouth. i am currently waiting for a neurologist to see me to make sure its not ms or similar my rhummy said arthritis sufferes can get these pains but he wants the all clear for ms first

Just read your post I have been experiencing sudden pain I have just posted about.Mine dosent jump about though it stays in the thigh it just feels like your being attacked.The pain is horrendous I'm wondering what causes it Its really scary

my rhummy has just put me on gapapentin last month the fron of my thigh felt like i had burnt it i couldnt bare my clothing to touch it the sun burn pain has now gone however i have lost the sensation in the thigh i cannot feel sharp objects on the skin. my rhummy said there is a main nerve that allows us to feel the sensation from the knee to the hip he said the nerve has been damaged and would like to try injecting the nerve with steriods to see if it will come back however im not to keen on that idea. may be the same thing as you. now i have the electric shock pains bouncing around hopefully these new meds will stop it. my rhummy is sending me for test for MS due to my farther having it and the drugs im in its a possibility i to have developed this diease fingers crossed all will come back fine
