Subject: cerebrex...comments and opinions please

Hi, Just been given these today to try to help with inflammation and pain.
Has anyone any comments on them, either positive or negative.

hi em is there a spelling error im on a drug called celebrex aka celcoxib. its an anti inflammatory drug white capsual yellow stripe if it the same one ill message my comments of my experience

Hi Kylee,
Yes I got it wrong and have corrected it. It is white, but with 2 blue stripes on and 7767 written on the top stripe and 100 on the lower stripe. The name celecoxib is also on the reverse of the blister pack.
Would love to know some-one has had some great results.

hi em yes i to am on these drugs i have been on them for the past 2 yrs i find they do help when im in a majour flare im suppose to take them every day 1 capsual twice a day how ever i feel with all the other meds im on i dont wnt to taake an anti inflammatory every day so i take it as and when i need it. i have had some great results where my knee has flared like a football and 30mins after taking the celcoxib the swelling has virtualy gone. i will say be carefull with what drugs you take with it you cnt take iburfoen when using celcoxib my rhummy said the celcoxib is equal to 8 iburophen tablets. also be carefull regarding stomach ulcers i was perscribe omprezal to protect my stomach. i havent had any bad side effects from the drug

Thanks for your views Kylee, I have been told to try these for 2 weeks and see how I find them. Like you 1, 100mg twice a day.
I won't take them regularly when my inflammation settles down. I also don't take anti-inflamitary regularly for all the same reasons.
I am hoping to see a difference, as I haven't had these before. wishing you well. x
