I finally stopped worrying after 30+ years lol hope you are all well. Is you dad having Methotrexate injections then Yasmin? doesn't hurt at all tell him from me :) off to Kew Gardens tomorrow for my birthday, don't care if it rains, just want to last the day and see the Kew Concert in the evening :) rock on Status Quo xxx

Nice to hear from you Willis...HAPPY BIRTHDAY:)! I hope you have a wonderful day whatever the weather...Willis his had one injection and I think he was pleasantley suprised, it was a smaller injection than the normal so I think that kinda took the edge of the situation itself...It was kinda hilarious when he came out with excuses:)...so good to hear from you!!! xox Hawker, If only life brought money back guarantee with it;)PPP....It hard but sometimes we have to find something that will help us to look at the sitauation from another angle so we can find the strength to continue...x

Yasmin: you - or one rather - don't necessarily need a "new" angle, I think it is just one's general attitude to life. Two types of people exist: positive outlook and negative. The positive get up and go, take things head on, see problems as challenges, and so on; the negative have a "can't do" attitude. You see it everywhere. My wife, a nurse, sees it in hospital wards; I see it in my workplace when new ideas are suggested; my friend whose work involves visiting houses, sees people younger than him complaining about being old at 45 or whatever - yet he is over 65 with a heart problem and still a racing cyclist. While I agree with your sentiments and the very apt quotes in your posts up there^, I think a lot of this attitude is ingrained from early on in life - I hope you can prove me wrong! ATB

Hi Hawker:), I have no need to prove you wrong my friend:), you are 100% right in the sense that our upbringing has alot to do with how we tackle life situations...if we're brought up to believe we can achieve anything we put our minds too and have nothing to fear in being our true selves I know for sure we would have the positive attitudes to create success in our lives, but if we're constantley told we're not good enough or we're non achievers likewise that also has a very deep impact on how we deal with experiences....this is why when we have lost that fighting or achieving attitude we need to find it through other means...we need something that can envoke feelings of self worth and hope to re-awaken our dorment spirits to take the challenges head on knowing you have the capacity to deal with them and keep walking... Unfortunatley the majority of us havn't had the best of upbringing and carry onto teach our own children the very same we've been taught...A bit like the 'abused becoming the abuser'...that is the reality...Either we choose to work with love and change what we had to face or we keep to what we know and in turn use the same techniqes on others...I can also feel the frustration some people may feel againt those who give up easy but when you're caught up in these habits of a lifetime it can be the hardest thing to tackle without someone or something to give you a helping hand or to show you a direction to follow...Those who are bone lazy, well their a 'different kettle of fish' altogether... I hope you weren't waiting for a showdown;)p...
