Hi Colin, sorry to hear that you have uveitis, i hope it clears up quickly for you. I sometimes get sharp pains shooting through my eyes and they feel dry. I didn't realise r/a could cause all these things. Have you spoken to your consultant about it? perhaps it's time to give you some other medication to dampen down the r/a then this may stop in coming back. hope it's better soon, take care x

Hi Colin, I often feel as if I have 'a particle of something' in my eye, usually the same one,the left. This can last a few days and then go. Then come back totally out of the blue for no reason. Never had this checked out. I have never heard of your condition. How does this affect you? Hope you get over this soon. EM

thanks guys , my GP got me to see someone else today , another GP but she also works as eye consultant at out local hospital sometimes & was one before joining the surgery

she thinks its Inflammation of the membrane covering the white part of the eye , treatment is the same & its showing sings of improving which I am pleased about

bsk , I got to she her again next week & will ask about carmine , think its only available on prescription in UK , had dry eyes for long time

Rhona & EM , talk to your Rhummy nurse when you see them , they done the test for me
