Hi Suze, What biologic drug are you on? sometimes they can take a while to work. I also take Mtx and i don't think it works very well for me, i have heard that the injection can sometimes be more effective, I just started Rituximab yesterday and was told it could be 6 weeks or more before it will work, i just hope it does as i was on enbrel for 3 months with no effect but everyone is different and what is effective for one doesn't always work for another, hope you get sorted out soon. x

I ditched the mtx as it didn't work very well for me and I got a lot of infections. Switched to cimzia and it worked to some degree but had to stop taking it a lot as I got ill on it - nasty chest infections that wouldn't clear up. I did find the first 6 weeks of cimzia brilliant because I was on a double dose but as soon as i dropped to normal dose it wasn't as effective.

Doesn't it take two to three months to work?

Hi Suze Im on cimzia and like bsk I suffered with nasty chest infection which took ages to shift then got shingles after my second dose. Iv now done single dose and havnt had infection but still have an awful ot of pain and stiffness in joints. I was told it will take up to two weeks to work if it is going to have any effect. Hope you have had some improvement x
