Subject: Help please! Travel insurance!

Hi! I am in my 40's with arthritis, and have just been put on the waiting list for a hip op, am working and fairly mobile. I booked a cruise last year and as yet have no travel insurance. If I get the date for my op before the cruise I would have to postpone. Has anyone had any experience or advice on any insurers that would cover me (in case of personal accident)whilst being on a waiting list,I appreciate I would have to pay extra..Thank you!

Try Fish Insurance. They specialize in insuring disabled people. Not to bad cost wise.

I use Debenhams as they are very competive when you have medical/health problems. Have used them since diagnosed with RA. Go to moneysupermarket.com and follow the link for holiday insurance, once you say you have a health problem you get directed to insurance companies than specialise in holiday insurance for people with disabilaties. Hope this helps.
