Subject: Ambrotose

I've been told about Ambrotose - Mannatech and did a bit of online research to see how good this product is. It seems to have helped a few people with RA quite effectively. The results and testimonials seem very convincing but the product is expensive and is only sold Via network marketing which makes me think this is a scam. I would be interested to hear if anybody has tried this supplement and has had a positive result.

Hi Keith, its always worth checking what the ingredients are and check with pharmcy if you can buy them cheaper. Sainsbury pharmacy sell all kinds of supplements at a really good price. You should always check that supplements compliment your meds. Take care

Just an update that you can actually buy this product online from Mannatech. I have just bought this and am waiting for delivery. I will try this for 3 months and then I will be able to tell if this does help. I'm still a bit sceptical but am willing to try based on the testimonials be they true or false.

Hi Keith
I took a look at the ingredients and noticed that it uses Aloe Vera gel - which is being sold in a lot of places - I was interested to see that Ambrotose used Brown rice starch as it's base rather than corn starch. They describe it as a pre-biotic which would modify the bacteria in the gut - aloe Vera is supposed to heal the gut.
So it is a bit like a diet approach without the need to diet - but anyone who has a food sensitivity to gluten or anything else is better removing the cause of the damage.
Thanks for the post looks interesting.

Well it's been a month now on Ambrotose and I feel no better. I will give it another 2 months which I think is a fair chance for it to prove any good.
