Subject: fell off no smoking wagon :(((

hi well - confession time - after one month i went away on business and got so stressed i picked up a packet :( arghhhhhh well i was doing 18 hour days and clients had me tearing hair out so thought cigs were better than hitting people lol
well back to square one and plan my day for next week i think!!! still determined to kick it for good though so here's hoping i can do it again - just got to inform nurse now - oh dear she'll make me feel guilty as anything. apart from that and the odd ache and stiffness i am doing not bad Arthur wise so that is always a blessing. picked up local swim baths timetable today and determined i'm doing that at least twice a week too. so here goes.... hope you all keeping ok and not suffering too much. just need the weather to get a bit warmer ! take care, much love

Hi Wills, don't look on it as a failure, look on it as a learning process. I had many attempts before i finally stopped almost 6 years ago. I used to kid myself on i could just take one and stop again but as you will have found out that doesn't happen, so the next time you get stressed go for a walk or find another way to cope as cigarettes actually make stress worse. anyway good luck and glad you are feeling better. x

Sorry to hear that, it is all part of the learning process as Rhona says, the swimming classes will help with stress levels as will a walk, what about the nicorette pataches and the as my friend calls them the plastic fags, hang in there, and it is really hard, but you will get there evntually x

Hi Willis, its not easy, I gave up three and half years ago. I needed help and I used Champix.I wasn't strong enough to do it on my own. I got there in the end and so will you. Your nurse will be more understanding than you think (mine was). They know its hard. Onwards and upwards as they say. When your ready have another go!!!! Best of Luck. Take Care X
