Hi Davina, Sorry to hear that you are in so much pain, i know how you feel. I have RA and have recently started enbrel, i was getting terrible pain along the top of my legs and when i mentioned this at the hospital i was told that is was coming from my hips, it's not so bad now but it was agony trying to get out of bed etc. I don't have OA and i know it's not so common to get RA on the hips but i would think if you have RA then perhaps it is coming from that and when your medication starts taking effect it should settle, hope you feel better soon. take care xx

Hi Davina, with OA you can get pain in any joint that is affected. Do you think your pain may be due to your limp?? I have a limp that gives me pain in my knee, but there is no oa in that knee. How my rhumy guy explained it to me it is reffered pain caused by extra pressure due to limping all the time.
Davina, try not to worry too much have a word with your Dr or nurse.
Take Care hope the pain subsides soon xx

Hi bsk thank you I.hope so to, how are you finding enbral after cimzia?
Hi Marlene again I do hope its to do with the limp but spoke to my gp and going to see him next week. Thank god he was a rheumy nurse so he is great to have as a gp. He said he may send me for an x ray to see if any damage and he said it doesn't sound good from what I have explained but qe will see.
