Hope your new meds help you soon. I have OA so the only thing I have the same as you is the pain. oh yes and the sleepness nights and fatigue. I came to this forum for support over a year ago and they are all great and understanding. I have had two surgeries so far to help me out.
Its not a good place to be when we are in a lot of pain, but I do believe it makes us strong. Also it makes us good listeners to others when they need a few words of encouragement or just a virtual hug.
Take Care so glad you decided to join us X

Hi,

I have osteoarthritis in both knees. I was told I would probably need a knee replacement in the right knee two years ago after I fell on the beach in a sand pit. A few years before I had mild arthritis in the left knee and treated it with acupuncture. It worked for almost four years until I fell on the right one. Now I am in a lot of pain. I am just glad I am retiring, Feb 29th so I deal with this better. I have been taking aleve, but now it doesn't seem to be helping much. Is anyone taking arthritis drugs or any other alternative medicine? I am eating walnuts as they say it is good for arthritis, probably explain the price of them. Ha,ha! I just read about prolotherapy and wondered if anyone has tried it? Thanks. :0)
