Subject: enbrel and sulfasalazine
Hi Does anyone take sulfasalazine and enbrel, i am due to start enbrel in a few days and have been told to continue with all my other medications for the moment (sulphasalazine, methetrexate and plaquenil) but i am a bit worried as i have read on the internet that enbrel can have an interaction with sulfasalazine. i am wondering if this is the case.

hi rhona , I was on enbrel with methetrexate & sulphasalazine , they never mentioned about problems with the drugs interacting hope you get on well with enbrel , they are very good drugs when you got one that suits you , had problems myself with enbrel & going on Infliximab some time soon
