Hi all my name is Sue, I am 32 yrs old and have suffered groin pain on and off for about 9 years now. In September 2011 I finally got a diagnosis after all this time of telling me it was my back! I underwent a pelvic mri as requested by a sonographer of all people lol and it turns out i have osteo-arthritis of both hips! Gutted :(. The pain has obviously become more severe over the years which has promted more and more visits to my gp hence i finally got a diagnosis! I immediatly applied for DLA as i have severe discomfort when walking and have several restrictions upon my standard of living, directly as a result of my hips - I got a lette rback this morning from DLA and i have been refused any help :( Any ideas why I have been turned down and should I appeal? Many many thanks Sue x

It is better to let the CAB do it they know what they are doing, they will contact your Doctors surgery on your behalf and take all the worry away for you leave it up to them they do this sort of thing daily
