hello, Gill... can I suggest you something I tried myself and benefited... (1) 1 small soon of grounded black paper in a cup of hot water ( drink like you take tea) .. 3/4 cups a day
(2) accu-pressure : fold yr arm, yr palm near yr chest, press the crease of yr right elbow with thumb of yr other hand.... press for 1 minute & release... repeat it for other elbow... do these few times a day
(3)press between your thumb & index finger with your thumb of other hand.. 1 min each time .. repeat 5 time in each session... 5 times a day

these accupressure points re-juvinates yr nerves... you will feel better immediately

4) eat raw Celery (vegetables) time to time

please post here how you are feeling now
keep faith in Accupressure.. it is tremendous power within youself.

tks... Sidney

Hi Gill don't worry about your brother in law T2 is not so bad these days. I;ve had it for about 6 years now and I'm still here. But best not to eat sweet stuff but ironically that's exactly what we T2's crave for the insulin !! As long as he's getting regular check up's at the Diabetic Clinic he should be fine. Hope U feeling better ;-)

Hi,thats the crazy world of the human race,we can't win for pain and tring to enjoy life, sorry marlene to hear you have upped your meds, and to your hubby to,pain who wants it aaye.it don't help this damp weather,I have been taking more than I should on the pain killers, but you do your best in this world,I have stayed in more to keep warm, but sometimes it's so sooo damp that the pain won't go so I guess I know how you feel when you have extra's to take on the meds.as for my brother in law he's a cheeky begger,I don't no how he gets aeay with it what he eats and yes it's a lot better on diabetes 2 as you said.but old habits die hard,he likes the sweet things in life, but so do I and I do worry for him,I worry as he is autistic(to clever by far)and it takes a few times for the penny to drop.he had a brother that died because of diabetes 1 and everything went wrong for the poor bloke, kidneys and waiting for a transplant,he was to weak for all the help, and died,so I worry.but still he likes to enjoy life so who am I to argue.now for the sad things .I am only joking.I am OK and ready almost for next CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR.HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA SEE YA
