Subject: ugg boots

hi all i just wondered if any one has tried wearing ugg boots to help with painfull feet and ankles,if so are they as comfy as everyone says they are,i have pa in my toes and ankles and my husband has offered to buy me some ugg boots for xmas,so any experience with them would be welcome thanks in advance sandra

I had special insoles made for my shoes and the rhuemy podiatrist told me I could wear them in ugg boots if I wanted I wear them all the time I have pa also and find other shoes sore on my feet but love my uggs hope this helps a little x

thanks lynn i also have special insoles from the podiatrist its nice to know there good in uggs,ive got to go to the podiatrist on friday for a injection in my foot to help with plantar fasciatis pain,have you had this done?if so does it hurt at the time and does it help with pain.thanks again sandra x

I'm glad to help sorry I've not had injections in my foot jyst my shoulder and that wasn't as sore as I thought it would be hope you get on OK x

I can recommend Ugg Boots they are so comfortable and keep you very warm :)

Hi there, I wear Emu boots which are similar but the soles are more substantial and they are better made with a bit more support. Also be careful of websites offering them for £50, buy direct from a shop as the fakes are not the same and you need to look after your feet! I also found that the ugg knitted boots stretched nicely around my splints. Hope this helps :o)

Hi, yes they're are great. TK Maxx also do something similar and quite a lot cheaper. I wore mine constantly last year and will still get away with using them this winter.x

thank you all for your advise,my hubby took me to the ugg boot store in manchester today and i got a lovely chocolate colour boots with buttons on the side to give me that extra width,ive never had a pair of boots costing so much before but my feet are my worst pain and as everyone says you need to look after your feet, so bring on the cold weather now,i'm ready lol xx
