Hi Davina, sorry you are having a bad time of it. Only we know what pain we are in and sometimes you are made to feel like a fraud. Hope you get some good news on Thursday. Take Care X

Hi Davina, i had a scan of my hands and there was no signs of inflammation and they said I was 'in remission.' However, when I spoke to rheumy nurse who could see my wrists were swollen and I questioned the 'remission' diagnosis, she agreed I wasn't. She said that is sometimes wrongly said to patients and they generally like their own doctors to do the scan. Like you I have pain (all the time) and it is clear I am not in remission. So don't feel like a fraud at all. A good rheumatologist will believe what you say and wil probably see the inflammation just by looking.
Don't worry about it.
