Subject: arthritis and prednisilone

been seeeing gp for 2 years one of my gps seems to think osteo, reynauds, and carpel tunnel as all that came back was inflammation on bloods treated with painkillers and naproxyn, ended up very depressed and on anti depressants and anti anxiety also diagnosed as menopausal, the painkillers stopped working and i developed more joint involvement i am now seeing a different gp in our practise coz i feel i can talk to him i have now developed lumps and pressurre under my knees so he gave me a short course of pred, this worked for a fortnight and the tiredness pressure and pain came back with a vengence i have lost 7 stone in 2 years and feel really ill most of the time he has ordered more specialised blood tests and put me on a 7 week course of pred everything has improved but i am left with residual pain if i put pressure on my joints the stiffness is much better but i seem to have reached a plateau where i have improved to a point and no further i think it is hard coz i havent got any definative answer to what is wrong with me all i know is i hurt,my knees are shot at and they only started playing up 3 months ago,i dont see a rheumatologist and i am terrified the dr wont believe i am still haveing probs coz i am better than i was but still having pain
