Subject: frusterated aaaggggghhhh!!!!

The rummy nurse was ment to send out a prescription from the rhumatologist for me to start sulphfazaline.... it should have been in the post last thursday. When i rang yesterday to say i hadnt recived it yet i was told it was only posted on monday!!!! and to ring back if i didnt recive it in yesterdays post.

of course it didnt arrive so i rang again and got the answering mashine.

I also had a moan to them about actually seeing the rhumatologist as its been almost 5 months since i last saw one. recived a letter yesterday for an appointment... IN JANUARY!!!! i could scream. all the appointments are with the flipping nurse, granted she is helpful but come on...i have obvious swelling in my hands, inflamation of my ribcage and sturnum... i cant take deep breaths anymore, my back is becomming more and more stiff and im going to have to wait untill january to be examined by the consultant.

im utterly perplexed! not a happy bunny at all.

i have ankoloysing (from 28)& osteo (from 11) i know how hard it is to cope with these 2 things & a young family now i'm 54 nearly & my lower back is completely fused together my muscles around my spine up to my shoulders are completely solid too & the pain is awful i suggest you get a good physio to help you cope with your ankoloysing as it helps while your young & hydrotherapy too if poss. So Sorry about your RA meds hope its sorted soon, ask your Gp to help get earlier appt to consultant may help.
