When I had my op I stopped methotrexate a week before and missed one injection of enbrel.Normally you will be told when to stop meds when you have your pre op assessment. What you might find whilst in hospital is you will be given an infusion of anti biotics as because of the meds you are on you are at high risk of infection.Infact they are so worried about you catching an infection in hospital they will discharge as soon as they can!! Good luck and hope it all goes well.

Hi I had an operation on my foot and not only stayed on my Enbrel and Leflunomide but rheumatogist gave me steroid injections to both my knees to help me through!! That was three months ago and I had absolutely on problem at all.
