Subject: Feeling good after Cimzea

Hi all. Been a while since I last wrote anything but i`m eight weeks into taking Cimzea and for the first time in four years my joints are nearly pain free, fatigue is under control and I actually can go a day without thinking of R.A. I won`t get too carried away till i`ve been a few months without a flare up but compared to how things used to be i`m much better. I`ve been on lots of different medications, anti-tnfs, steroids and i`m still taking mtx with the cimzea but i hope this message gives sufferers some positivness.

I'm on it too and it does help but I've had a lot of infections and will probably have to switch. Hope it works out better for you.

Hi all. A few weeks back I wrote how good I was feeling now that i`m on Cimzea, and although things are alot better and i`m getting by without having to take steroids which I couldn`t do before i`ve had alot of pain in my joints which were particularly bad before cimzea, namely fingers, elbow, ankle. I think it could be pain caused by the damage done by the R.A but they are swollen and one thing cimzea isn`t is an anti-inflammatory, unlike the steroids so although i`m feeling better on cimzea its not the miracle i`d hoped but maybe i was expecting too much. That said any improvement is good news and there has been improvement. I`ve got to see Rheumy in November so hopefully i can get some answers then.
