Hey everybody. Have any of you arthritis sufferers considered changing your diet? Because there is lots of conversation about acidic diets, helping to cause arthritis...

Thanks jennifer, I am arthritis sufferer and changing the diet to more alkalised diet does seem to help ease inflammation and stiffness but it isnt long term if its not kept up with regularly. But keeping away from Acidic food definitely helps to control most or some symptoms.

My experience is that it doesn't make any difference at all.

I have been reading up on alternative approaches (this is not an invitation to Dr. S to come on and sell me something) and I have started to change my diet to include alkaline foods as opposed to acidic. I haven't bought anything new and wouldn't be interested in alkaline water but have changed my shopping list. Only started but if anyone is interested i will let you know how i am getting on.

Yes, Mads I would be interested to hear how you are getting along with diet change. :-) I haven't been able to pinpoint anything really (apart from perhaps cheese) that makes my symptoms worse. Would be good to hear if you feel better with your new regime especially as you are sticking to things you already buy. Take care....x
