Hi, my hands and wrists are so painfull and have been for a few days, I have only just had a flare and the swelling of my knuckles is pretty bad. I had four or five good days, i don't know why this keeps happening, i suppose this is how it will be. OA is like RA unpredictable for the pain scale. I think as I get older I am unable to take the pain so well. LOL I must see my GP and talk to her about the pain meds yet again, they are not touching it at the minute. Any way less about me how are you keeping well I hope. Take Care!!!!!

Hi Dilizjo, I read your post, I don't think you have gone to far at all. I find the original post a little odd. If my partner was in such a terrible way, I wouldn't be looking on here for answers I would be talking to my GP.(taking his own life) Maybe I am just a little suspicious.I am just going to follow the post with interest!!!!!
I did sit in my garden to-day for a while. It was so peacefull i think all my neighbours were out. They are not noisy but i couldn't hear a soul.Have had a good day took full amount of pain meds every four hours to keep the pain down,not keen on doing that as i feel two tramadol with two co-dydramol are a lot to take to-gether. I suppose needs must. Well take Care and I hope you and me sleep better to-night X

I have slept a bit better tonight managed till 4:30 but now feeling the dreaded cold symptoms coming along so a bit of a lazy day for me I think.

Hi, didn't sleep to well and the pain is still fast and furious to-day. Just waiting for the pain meds to kick in again. Home alone to-day so I can just potter about. I have muscle pain in the backs of my legs this is a new one. It is the muscle as when i flex my foot it just kills. Oh well what do they say variety is the spice of life LOL. My son is doing a sponsored run for mens cancer in December, so proud of him, hes working real hard to get fit,this will be his first time ever at 36yrs. My other son 37yrs has been doing it for a couple of years now. Proud of them both!!! Oh well the proud mum bit over lol. Hope your family are all keeping well. Take Care X

Awww Marlene sorry you didn't sleep, I have just got up after a couple of hours rest now and feeling like S*** but will ride the storm. I don't think the heat agrees with us the back of my neck and shoulder blades have been really painful today, which is a new one for me.
I hope your son enjoys doing his sponsored run it is for a good cause:)
Even at our age our kids keep us going and give us moments of tremendous pride:)

Oh dear its all getting a bit naughty on the panther thread. Oh well i have posted but i think that will be the last one. My muscles in the back of my legs are real sore. Got appointment with GP late Monday afternoon just to get checked as never had that before. My hands and wrists are pretty painful too, but as you say we have to carry on. Sorry Dilizjo hijacked your other post re my Drs appointment hope you don't mind? I was so mad when i came out of there. After waiting 40mins after appoinment time, to be told the powers that be had removed the meds he wanted to prescrbe due to cut backs. Like you said on your post whats coming next. I don't think we should ask. Cut backs if i hear it one more time!!!!!
