Hi.... a year ago diagnosed with PA, with active psoriasis, just started Methotrexate after Sulphasalzine failed miserably. Just happy to know there are more of me out there, feel very alone in this as no real physical signs so people dont realise how it is for me.

Hello Joanna, welcome nice to hear from you. Unfortunately to begin with you do feel very much alone, but as time goes by you and the people you know all come to-gether family and friends are learning about this just as you are. This forum is such a great site for a friendly chat, having a good old rant, advice is great and a place to share your feelings without being judged. You will find lots of people ready to help and listen. You take care sending best wishes.

Hi Joanna, I've had PA for about 15 years and have tried Methotrexate and Sulphasalzine both failed for me to MTX gave me the worst headaches and sulphasalzine made me violently ill, I'm currently on leflunomide which doesn't really do much for me but Gold injections were a failure. lol it seems like nothing works... but i tell you this i'm not going to let it beat me, keep smiling and you'll feel better seems crazy but it works. your'e not alone :)
