Hi Lynn, sorry to hear you are suffering so much, I too have had tremendous pain in my jaw and know how debilitating it can be:( I am lucky in the respect that it only happens for a couple of days at a time and not there all the time, if I were you I would be ringing my Rheummy nurse straight away and get an appointment, waiting 3 months is a ridiculous thing for them to expect you to do.
take care and thinking of you xx

Hello lynn

I have trouble with my jaw as well. It seems so tired some days that I cannot eat very well and i just have to let my jaw drop to ease the pain. I dread going to the dentist as I cannot keep my mouth open. I am on Enbrel, and it is not the wonder drug that is made out to be. I am on 10 mgs of steriods. I have RA, had it for 10 yrs. You have lost so much weight. That needs to be addressed . I do wish you good luck with the diatician. I see you have 3 young kids. Life must be very hard for you.

Hi Lynn - How awful that your family are away in the caravan and you are stuck at home. That's awful. I do hope you feel better soon. My blood results are still up the creek after 2 yrs. Ther is something wrong with my white cells, don't know what, and no- one else seems to know either ! You have't been on mtx for very long so i am really hoping that the drug will work for you soon, maybe another couple of weeks and you may feel a bit better. I had a very good result with the mtx and my fatigue was very much improved. However, my stomach was so bad that I had to come off it. It is a good drug if you can stand the side effects. I am not as good on the enbrel and i have been on it since last xmas.

You say you have fribro as well. I have had fibro for 10yrs but now i am thinking that is was RA all along. Give the mtx at good trial and I hope you feel better soon. You are only 35 yrs old. Gosh you are sooo young. poor you. Hope things will improve for you soon. xxxxx
