oh no, the pain is back full force. For the past few weeks it wasn't good as the steroid wore off but from friday it has gradually consumed every joint. Thought the metx would have taken the edge off even a bit (12 weeks now) i was off on annual leave for a few weeks and doing a bit more activity than usual with the girls. But nothing excessive. God i hate this bloody thing, now today i am supposed to be working and my legs won't work, my shoulders feel as though there is a hot iron stuck through them and my hands, my wrists, i am back in wailing and gnashing of teeth mode. Painkillers useless but have fogged up my brain or is it that damned lethargy that goes with it. I can't even devise a flyer, oh forgive me i am ranting.

I know exactly how you feel hun, Its so tough when we have children to deal with. I want to crawl into a hole and never surface, only I cant - unfortunately!
Can your GP give you anything to help with pain? I am just tapering off steriods too and can feel mine coming back, its that heat feeling that creeps and builds and then the pain...nasty :(
Hang in there :)
I hope your feeling better this afternoon, big hugs and if you ever want to chat I ma here for you :)

hi Mads, you know me well enough, my day started off pretty painful, swallow my tramadol down for brekkie. Off to sainsbury's shopping, I picked up a duvet cover that matches mums bedroom, i thought i had been stung, but no a piece of glass stuck in my finger, sorted that out. Finished shop and went home. Wandering in the garden bent down to pick up a piece of paper wack fell straight into garden bench, cut my arm. Next thing Hubby calling for help, fell off ladder in garden sat in A&E for three hours. His arm in sling ripped muscle and tendon, back on Monday to see specialist. Its now 11:45 in the evening body doing flip flaps with the pain. Tramadol taken, hoping sleep will come soon. I tell you i couldn't make it up. What a bloody day.The chairs in the hospital a bit sparce spent most of the time standing. What can i say Mads i hope this little tale of woe makes you smile. Try your GP for stronger pain meds, take care and hope you feel a little better in the morning. Sending you Love and best wishes.
