Subject: Anyone else get pain in the Jaw joint?
Hiya all, today I have nasty pain in my left jaw joint does anyone else get this? I have had it before and it has gone away in a couple of days, but today it is much worse and I can barely open my mouth.... which is most probably good news to those around me as I am quieter than usual..... but I am finding it difficult to eat which is again good news for weight loss I suppose.....

i get the pain in the jaw as well. Rheummy said anywhere there is a joint expect some pain! Laughing and eating is probably the most painful but alas i suffer through and ensure that i am always well fed. Wish it would put me off food.

yes i have had pain in my jaw too. Not too bad,but enough to be uncomfortable.hope yours goes away

Yes, me too - both TMJs. My teeth no longer meet and I blend my food as I cannot chew. If it gets locked you can try to release it by running your finger along the gums between your teeth and inside cheeks...?

i have been getting pain in both my jaws went to drntist today to make sure it wasnt teeth problems he said it ws def the jaw joints said i should blend food down and if it persists i would need to see a dental surgeon.

Hi,
I have had several bouts of pain in my jaw, so bad i cant open my mouth, sneezing is agony as is laughing and forget eating..i havent had it for a long time now and i was going to say its one of the worst places to get it but then i think of other joints when im having a flare up and the pain is probably on a par.I love food i think thats probably why it makes me so miserable!
